All welds are complete, clean, and free from cracks.
Surface finish (paint, coating, corrosion protection) is acceptable.
Mounting points are properly aligned and reinforced where necessary.
Frame is square, level, and free from damage or [Link] is square,
level, and free from damage or deformation.
Skid is stable and level when placed on a flat surface.
Skid frame dimensions meet the drawing specifications.
2. Equipment & Components Mounted on Skid
All equipment (pumps, valves, motors, etc.) are securely fastened to the skid.
Equipment alignment is correct (mechanical and electrical connections).
Supports and brackets are installed per design.
No visible damage to equipment or components.
Protective covers (if any) are in place and secure.
All items are labeled with clear identification numbers or tags.
3. Piping & Tubing
Piping supports are correctly positioned and securely fastened.
No visible defects such as dents, corrosion, or leaks.
All flanges, valves, and fittings are properly torqued
Pipe insulation (if applicable) is correctly applied.
Gaps in insulation cladding around pipe hangers, at the tip of vertical pipe runs,
and at other protrusions such as structural supports.
4. Connection and Attachments
External corrosion (e.g bolt/nut, flange, weldment, attachments e.g. PG, tubing,
other instrumentations)
All actuators, valves, and dampers operate smoothly
No abnormal vibrations or noises in rotating equipment
Pumps, compressors operate without issue
5. Vibrate
Visual vibrations or line movements
Signs of cracking around nozzles, support lugs, pipe shoes, or other asymmetric
discontinuities, that are located in the cylindrical pipe run
Threaded connections
Loose supports causing metal wear
Small bore piping connections
6. Leak
No suspected leak along the line
Leak at pipe fittings
Leak at valve area
