Smart Pesticide Sprinkling System

The document outlines the Intelligent Pesticide Sprinkling System proposed for the Smart India Hackathon 2025, which utilizes an ESP32-S3 CAM system to scan plants, detect infections, and spray pesticides only where needed. This automated solution aims to reduce chemical usage, save costs, and promote environmentally friendly farming practices. The system is technically feasible, cost-effective for small farmers, and presents both social and environmental benefits, although it may face challenges such as AI errors and maintenance needs.

TECHNICAL APPROACH
NULLVOID

TECHNICAL APPROACH:
Hardware:
 ESP32-S3 CAM: Captures high-resolution
images of plants and processes them onboard.
Acts as the central controller for scanning,
decision-making, and spraying.
 Servo Motor: Rotates the camera to accurately
scan multiple plants, ensuring each plant is
properly analyzed.
 AI Model (Onboard Edge AI): Checks each
plant to see if it is infected and measures how
much of the plant is affected.
Calculates exactly how long the valve should
stay open to spray the right amount of pesticide.
 Smart Valves:Controlled by ESP32-S3 CAM to
spray the correct pesticide amount on infected
plants.
 Automatic Spraying: Fully automates spraying,
targeting only infected plants with precise timing.
