1. Project Overview
This project consists of a six-storey reinforced concrete framed commercial building with a
roof deck located in Pigcawayan, Cotabato. Building footprint is 20.0 m x 30.0 m with a
regular structural grid of 5.0 m x 5.0 m.
2. Functional Description per Floor
Ground Floor (Retail): Retail 1, Retail 2, Retail 3, Lobby, Toilet
2nd Floor (Food Court): Dining Area, Kitchen, Balcony
3rd Floor (Offices): Office A, Office B, Office C
4th Floor (BPO): Open Workspace, Server Room, Pantry
5th Floor (Conference Hall): Main Hall, Pre-function, Storage
6th Floor (Staff Quarters): Studio 1, Studio 2, Studio 3, Studio 4, Laundry
Roof Deck: Solar Panels, Water Tank, Open Deck
3. Structural Basis of Design
Design Codes: NSCP 2015 / ACI 318-14
Concrete strength f'c = 28 MPa
Steel fy = 415 MPa
Soil bearing capacity assumed = 150 kPa
Live loads: Retail 4.8 kPa; Office 2.4 kPa
Slab thickness = 150 mm

Grid: X1..X5 @ 5.0 m; Y1..Y7 @ 5.0 m
Typical sections:
- Slab: 150 mm
- Secondary beam: 250x450 mm
- Main beam: 300x600 mm

Estimated total floor area: 4,200 m²
Approx. concrete quantity: ~1,680 m³
Reinforcing steel: ~220,000 kg
Estimated total cost: ₱126,000,000 (approx.)
Note: Quantities and budget are preliminary and will be refined after detailed design and
bill of materials.
