Role Software Engineer
During the tenure in Toronto Hydro was heading the below functions, overseeing, improving and upgrading enterprise
services.
Architecture Solutions and Business Innovations (ASBI) – ASBI is Technology Innovations Department for the
entire Enterprise, i.e. Toronto Hydro, Toronto Hydro does Utilities and Power distribution throughout the City of Toronto.
It provides 19% of Ontario total electricity consumption. It has a head office in the Downtown of Toronto and another
office on Commissioners St in Toronto. It owns and operates an electricity distribution system that delivers electricity to
approximately 793,000 customers in the city of Toronto. Above-mentioned department within the organization is
responsible for significant input into strategic leadership, management, and oversight in areas such as Cloud
Infrastructure, Web Development and SAP.
• Responsible for requirements gathering from the client and taking sign off for the requirements.
• Responsible to create the As Is, To Be, SRS/BRS Documents as per the project.
• Responsible for assisting the development team, clarifying the requirements and support development team.
• Drive/improve IT system reliability, quality and timeliness of IT services to the achieve the Higher CSAT.
