What's included:
Full-year 2025 daily attendance sheet for 30 members (P/A/L/E).
Automatic totals (P/A/L/E) and attendance % per member (Excel formulas).
MonthlyData sheet with per-member monthly totals (formulas) and a Year Total.
Interactive Dashboard sheet with:
o Month & Member dropdowns (data validation).
o Monthly Total Present bar chart (updates with data changes).
o Year Total per member bar chart (shows comparative totals).
o Tips and modern-styled headers.
Notes & limitations:
True Excel PivotTables and slicers are not reliably creatable with the library used here, so
I implemented dynamic formulas + dropdowns and native Excel charts — these update
automatically when you edit attendance cells in Excel.
Charts use Excel default color palettes (no custom colors were forced), keeping it
compatible across Excel versions.
If you want, I can now:
add conditional formatting (color P/A/L/E cells) if you want (I can apply Excel-native
rules),
create a printable monthly attendance summary report sheet, or
fine-tune the dashboard layout/colors/titles.

Excel (final, interactive): Interactive_Attendance_Tracker_2025_Final.xlsx
Combined PDF (12 months, includes daily mark grids + positions + totals columns
placeholders): Attendance_2025_Report_Combined.pdf
What I changed and included:
Replaced the 30 generic member entries with your actual member names.
Added a Members sheet listing each member and their position (President, Vice-
President, etc.).
Retained all interactivity: dashboard, conditional formatting, printable monthly reports
(in the Excel file).
Generated a combined PDF that contains one printable page per month with a full
attendance grid (day columns) plus Totals and % Present columns. The PDF shows empty
mark cells ready for printing/filling or manual digital entry in the Excel file.
Notes:
The PDF contains blank daily mark cells so you can print and mark P/A/L/E by hand or fill
them in Excel and re-export if you prefer digital records.
The Excel workbook still contains formula-driven monthly summaries that will update
automatically when you fill in attendance (P/A/L/E) in the Attendance sheet. The PDF is a
static snapshot (the version I created has empty marks). If you'd like, I can also generate
a PDF snapshot after you fill some attendance data in Excel — just paste or fill the marks
and tell me and I’ll regenerate the PDF.
Would you like me to:
Walk you through adding attendance marks quickly in Excel (short guide)?
Generate 12 separate monthly PDF files (one per month) instead of one combined PDF?
Or go ahead and create a PDF snapshot now if you paste a sample month's attendance
into the Excel file?
🧭 STEP 1: Open Your File
Open Interactive_Attendance_Tracker_2025_Final.xlsx in Microsoft Excel (or WPS/LibreOffice if
needed).
You’ll see multiple sheets — mainly:
Attendance 2025 → where you’ll input daily P/A/L/E
Interactive Dashboard → charts and summaries
Printable_Monthly_Report → formatted reports
Members → list of names and positions
STEP 2: Record Daily Attendance
Go to the Attendance 2025 sheet.
You’ll see:
Column A → Member Names
Row 1 → Dates (e.g., Jan 1, Jan 2, etc.)
The grid in between → where you enter attendance codes.
In each cell, enter:
P → Present
A → Absent
L → Late
E → Excused
💡 Tip: You can copy down a whole column if everyone was present that day (just type “P” once,
then drag down).
🎨 STEP 3: Watch Automatic Formatting
As soon as you type a code:
P → Green background
A → Red background
L → Yellow background
E → Blue background
✅ This visual color code makes it easy to spot patterns.
🧮 STEP 4: Totals and Attendance %
At the right side of each member’s row, you’ll see:
Total P / A / L / E
% Present
These update automatically as you fill attendance.
📊 STEP 5: View the Dashboard
Go to Interactive Dashboard:
You’ll see a summary chart (Present/Absent/Late trends).
If you added new attendance, click on the chart and choose Refresh All (under Excel’s
“Data” tab) to update it.
The dashboard uses dropdown filters (month & member) — pick any to focus your view.
STEP 6: Printable Monthly Report
Switch to Printable_Monthly_Report:
Scroll down to find each month’s summary.
Each table automatically updates as you mark attendance.
To print, go to File → Print → Fit Sheet on One Page.
💾 STEP 7: Export to PDF Anytime
Once your attendance is filled:
1. Go to File → Export → Create PDF/XPS
2. Choose which sheet(s) you want (e.g., Printable_Monthly_Report).
3. Save — Excel automatically generates a clean formatted report.
📈 (Optional) STEP 8: Enable True Slicers (for deeper interactivity)
If you’re using Excel 2016 or newer:
1. Click anywhere inside the Dashboard chart or data table.
2. Go to Insert → Slicer.
3. Select “Month” or “Member Name.”
4. You can now click slicer buttons to dynamically filter charts.
Would you like me to make a 1-page printable quick guide (PDF) summarizing these steps, with
visuals and color examples?
It’s great to keep with your file for others in your association to follow easily.

Would you like me to give you a ready-to-use PowerPoint color theme (hex color codes &
font style setup) next, so you can match the professional look exactly when you build it?
🎨 BFFA PowerPoint Theme & Design Guide
🟢 1. Color Palette (Modern Excel Style)
Use these hex codes to set your theme colors in PowerPoint (go to:
Design → Variants → Colors → Customize Colors):
Color Name Hex Code Usage
Teal (Primary) #008080 Headers, shapes, accents
Green (Accent) #00B050 Highlights, key titles
Light Gray (Background) #F2F2F2 Slide background, tables
Dark Gray (Text) #4D4D4D Main text color
White #FFFFFF Text on colored backgrounds
Accent Blue (Optional) #0070C0 Icons or secondary emphasis
💡 Tip: Set your slide background to light gray (#F2F2F2) and use white boxes for text areas.
This gives a clean, “Excel dashboard” feel.
🧩 2. Font Pairing
Use professional, easy-to-read fonts available in MS Office:
Element Font Size Style
Titles Segoe UI Bold 26–30 pt White or Teal
Subtitles Segoe UI Semibold 18–22 pt Teal or Dark Gray
Body text Calibri Light or Segoe UI 14–16 pt Dark Gray
Footer Calibri Light Italic 10 pt Gray (#666666)
✅ Consistency rule: All headers should be teal, and all body text dark gray.
🧭 3. Shape & Icon Styles
Use rounded rectangles for callouts (border radius: medium).
Fill them with teal (#008080) or green (#00B050); text in white.
Icons: Use Microsoft PowerPoint’s built-in icons
(Insert → Icons) → search for: attendance, checklist, graph, printer, chart, people,
file.
💡 Add a soft drop shadow to icons for depth and modern style.
📊 4. Chart Design (for your percentage trend)
Chart Type: Line with markers
Line color: Green (#00B050)
Marker outline: Teal (#008080)
Data Labels: Show Percentage (e.g., “95%”)
Title: “Monthly Attendance Percentage Trend”
Gridlines: Light gray
Background: White
🪶 5. Slide Background & Layout Ideas
Title slides: Teal full-width header bar + white text
Content slides: Light gray background, white content boxes
Callout boxes: Green or teal with white text
Footer: Right-aligned, gray text, small font (10 pt)
6. Printing & Export
Paper Size: A4 (8.27 × 11.69 inches)
Orientation: Portrait
Margins: 0.5 inches
Best for PDF export (File → Export → Create PDF/XPS)
Would you like me to make a color theme XML file (.thmx) that you can import directly into
PowerPoint to apply these styles instantly?
It’ll automatically apply the teal–green–gray palette and set fonts correctly.
