Scene: One Morning at Ahaan’s House

(Lights up. All four friends are at Ahaan’s place for a sleepover.)

Ahaan: (yawning) Morning, guys! Let’s watch a movie and order some pizza!

Aidan: Yes! I’m starving. I need food before I faint.

Ayaan: (holding game controller) First, one round of my new game. Then we eat.

(Suddenly the lights go out. Everyone freezes.)

Maulik: Uh... did the power just go?

Ahaan: (checks phone) No Wi-Fi either!

Ayaan: My game crashed!

Aidan: The microwave won’t start! No pizza??!

Scene 2: Panic Mode

Ahaan: How are we supposed to live like this?

Ayaan: This is the Stone Age!

Aidan: I miss electricity... and pizza.

Maulik: (calmly) See? We use resources all the time, but never think about what happens if
they’re gone.

Ayaan: So what do we do now?

Maulik: We talk. Play a board game. Maybe… go outside?

All (together): Whoa... outside?

Scene 3: The Realization

Aidan: Okay fine. But after this, I’m never leaving the light on for no reason.

Ayaan: And I’ll charge my devices before they hit 1%!

Ahaan: And I’ll stop binge-watching till 3 a.m... maybe.

Maulik: That’s the spirit. Save power. Save water. Respect resources.

(They all nod and laugh.)

All: Lesson learned!
