RESOLUTION NO.0036 S-2025
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE BARANGAY BALITE TO ENROLL IN ELECTRONIC
TAX PAYMENT SYSTEM (ETPS) OF LANDBANK OF THE PHILIPPINES-VIRAC BRANCH.
WHEREAS, the LAND BANK OF THE PHILIPPINES (LANDBANK) has a proposal to Barangay for
the following facilities and services:
1. ETPS – A web-based application develops by LANDBANK to complement the
Electronic Filing and Payment System of BIR. It allows the enrolees to pay their taxes
thru the internet and provides paperless tax filing and convenient online tax payment
via debit from an enrolled LANDBANK account
WHEREAS, the Sanguniang Barangay consider that the aforementioned facilities and
services shall be beneficial to the Barangay financial transactions.
BE IT RESOLVED, to authorize the barangay to enrol in the e-Tax Payment System of Land
Bank of the Philippines and that the authorized users/enrolees of the said system shall be
any one(1) two(2) of the following:

RESOLVED FURTHER, that Land Bank of the Philippines is authorized to debit the following
account no. upon our instruction in order to effect our e-Tax Payment.

RESOLVED FINALLY, that this resolution shall be deemed valid and effective unless written
notice of its revocation or amendment is delivered to Land Bank of the Philippines.

BARANGAY RESOLUTION NO. 037, SERIES - 2025
A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE ELECTRONIC FILING AND PAYMENT SYSTEM (EFPS)
FOR BARANGAY TRANSACTION
WHEREAS, the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) and other government agencies have
adopted the Electronic Filing and Payment System (EFPS) to streamline tax filing, payment
and other transaction processes;
WHEREAS, the EFPS provides a secure, efficient, and convenient platform for the filing of tax
returns and the payment of taxes and other government dues, minimizing paperwork and
physical transactions;
WHEREAS, Barangay Balite Virac, Catanduanes recognizes the need to enhance its
administrative efficiency, promote transparency, and improve compliance with national
government regulations;
WHEREAS, the implementation of EFPS will enable the barangay to perform its transactions
with the BIR and other agencies in a timely and systematic manner;
NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of Sangguniang Member HON. ROBERTO A. GONZALES duly
seconded by all member present be it;
RESOLVED, as it is hereby RESOLVED, that Barangay Balite Virac, Catanduanes, formally
adopts the Electronic filing and payment System (EFPS) for its official transactions with the
Bureau of Internal Revenue and other relevant government agencies;
RESOLVED FURTHER, that the Barangay Treasurer and other concerned barangay officials
shall undergo appropriate training and orientation on the use of the EFPS to ensure its
proper implementation;
RESOLVED FURTHER, that the Barangay shall allocate necessary funds and technical
resources to support the EFPS implementation and maintenance;
RESOLVED FINALLY, that copies of this Resolution be forwarded to the Municipal
Government of Virac, the Bureau of Internal Revenue, and other concerned agencies for the
information and appropriation action.
UNANIMOUSLY ADOPTED this 19th day of April 2025 at the Barangay Hall of Balite Virac,
Catanduanes.
