Warm-up Activity: I will greet the class with a smile and say “hello my name is teacher Unah.”
I will write my name on the board.
I will have students repeat my name.
Lesson 1

Vocab Exercises: I will ask students to their names; I will ask them to respond and encourage the
to talk and assist where required. I will continue with and ask them what they
like.

Presentation: I will show a sample card and explain that they must make their own card to
use in class. I will give each student their own blank paper, I will further
instruct them to write their name using big letters on the front. I will walk
around and help students individually. I will encourage learners to draw their
favorite things on the name card.

Other Activities: I will check out their cards and praise their work while asking the to read out
their names.

Assessment Strat: Observing how many learners can write, read and comfortable respond in
English.
