[Scene 2: Planning a Cracker-Filled Diwali]
Naitik: (excitedly)
Guys! is year’s Diwali is going to be explosive! I got bombs, rockets, chakris – y
ou name it and I have it !
Pranjal:
Yes! We’ll make the sky light up with our crackers!
Avaneet:
Can’t wait! e louder, the better!
Shourya:
It’s going to be legendary! Everyone will remember our Diwali!

[Scene 3: Concerned Neighbors]


(Rhythm enters, holding an inhaler, coughing)
Rhythm:
Children, I know you’re excited, but these crackers really a ect people like me. My
breathing gets worse every Diwali...
(Anay walks in slowly, looking weak)
Anay:
Same here. I have asthma. Last year, I ended up in the hospital after Diwali night.
(Alok joins in, holding a toy dog or leash)
Alok:
And my dog? He hides in fear under the sofa for hours. e loud bangs terrify him.

( e cracker group looks uncomfortable)


Avneet:
Oh… we didn’t think it would a ect so many people.

Akriti:
Hey everyone! We’re decorating our home with handmade diyas and rangolis this
year.
Ekasth:
No crackers — just lights, music, sweets, and smiles!
Akriti:
Diwali is about the victory of good over evil. What good is it if we hurt others?
Shourya:
But without crackers... will it even feel like Diwali?
Ekasth:
Try it. Light up lives, not just the sky. You’ll love it.

Aviral (Vendor):

(Ameesh joins in, as a parent)
Ameesh:
I’m really happy to see you all thinking responsibly. It shows true understanding.
Naitik:
You’re right. Diwali isn’t just about fun. It’s about joy — for everyone.
Avaneet:
Let’s return our recrackers and buy diyas instead.
Naitik:
And maybe donate the extra money to a good cause?
Alok:
And throw a noise-free, pet-friendly Diwali party!
