Lesson 1: Hiragana Part 1 (あ~そ)
Objectives:
- Recognize and write あ~そ characters
- Learn basic pronunciation of each syllable
- Build 5-10 basic words using these characters

Lesson 2: Hiragana Part 2 (た~ん)
Objectives:
- Complete full hiragana chart
- Read and write basic syllables using learned kana
- Build vocabulary using new kana
Lesson Content:
Practice writing each character 5 times. Focus on:
たちつてと、なにぬねの、はひふへほ、まみむめも、やゆよ、らりるれろ、わをん
Sample words:
たべもの (food), はな (flower), ねこ (cat), みず (water), ゆき (snow), もも (peach), れいぞうこ
(fridge)
Try reading hiragana from labels, signs, or apps like LingoDeer.
Lesson 3: Basic Greetings & 'です' Sentences
Objectives:
- Learn essential greetings and polite expressions
- Understand and use the sentence pattern ~は~です
- Introduce yourself in a basic sentence
Lesson Content:
Vocabulary:
おはよう (Good morning), こんにちは (Hello), こんばんは (Good evening), ありがとう (Thank
you), すみません (Excuse me), わたし (I), あなた (You), はい/いいえ (Yes/No)
Grammar:
~は~です (e.g. わたしはがくせいです。I am a student.)
Practice:
- Write 5 sentences using ~は~です
- Record yourself saying greetings aloud
- Use flashcards to remember new words
Lesson 4: Particles は & の
Objectives:
- Learn how to use the particles は (topic) and の (possession)
- Build simple sentences using both particles
- Describe things about yourself or others
Lesson Content:
Grammar:
- は: topic particle (e.g. わたしはせんせいです。)
- の: possessive (e.g. わたしのなまえは~です。)
Vocabulary:
くに (country), なまえ (name), にほん (Japan), がくせい (student), ベトナム (Vietnam)
Practice:
- Write 5 self-related sentences using both particles
- Examples:
・わたしのなまえは Duc Anh です。
・にほんはくにです。
Weekend: Weekly Review & Practice
Review Checklist:
