The [Link] planetary picture seen on the 45° dial is worrisome. Since SA moves
forward, but will retrograde, and then repeat the same degrees, its effect will last for a while.
[Link] means, among others, sickness while imprisoned (quarantine???), to be separated through

Mercury/Apollon which is someone who is free and open minded, who wants to expand and do so
through their communication skills, and with the Poseidon it becomes oratory. But the Hades here in
this three point picture drags that Mercury/ Apollon into the underworld indicating a real lack of
mobility and freedom in this area. So basically we’re dealing with someone who has deep emotional
yearnings with extraordinary skills, a man who is a seeker on a path and he’s looking for a place of
shelter for his feelings and ideas. But there’s exists this huge dilemma in his chart that revolves
around identity and issues of self-acceptance.

Venus/Saturn with the Ascendant in this three point picture around the Meridian is telling us that he
is desires close relationships, solid relationships but that he tends to feel lonely and disconnected.

Moon/Pluto on the Sun and Chiron reveals this emotional depth and intensity but he’s got
tremendous fears around them being invaded and intruded upon.

Zeus-Kronos midpoint structure with Mars which indicates a really strong personality and someone
who wants to be an authority figure.

with the Mercury right on that axis, someone who needs to communicate and have their viewpoints
recognized.

The trouble is this Hades/Sun midpoint structure. Hades which is

the planet of the underworld has pulled the Sun here and this
indicates serious self-esteem issues and defensive needs to prove
the self. This is someone who unconsciously feels unrecognized
and suppressed. So without a solid vessel to set that Neptunian
sail we get the shell of the boat, a lot of puffin up and feigning, a
lot of aggrandizement, because underneath is always this vague
sense of inferiority combined with a fear of rejection, and this
haunts him at every turn.

Saturn/Neptune midpoint-Meridian
Neptune andSaturn and come together here we have the use of the non-concrete, the visceral,
immense sensitivity, compassion and imagination of the Neptune, and the concrete reality,
practicality and discipline of the Saturn. This is what gives Taylor the power to create in tangible
form the outpourings of her imagination. Saturn/Neptune people, if the structure is there
artistically, often become self-appointed messiahs in a sense for the collective. She may speak of
emotions that are unique to her but really are common to the masses.

Moon/Neptune understands others need for unconditional love and they need this kind of love in
return. They often look to others to redeem or be redeemed on order to avoid having to face all of
the harshness in the concrete world.

Jupiter/Saturn midpoint indicating there are problems around the area of faith, swings in
temperament between unbounded optimism and deep pessimism. There is a lack of trust that what
she is looking for is really there for her, or rather, and more poignantly, on some level she really
doesn’t believe it is there for her and so what we think we energetically recreate.

Whatever Saturn touches it craves but has a hard time reaching. So here, the nurturance, deep
emotional bonds, real feelings of security is amiss. There’s a “trapped child” here who learned
emotional self-sufficiency early. The kind of love that says I will love, protect and nurture you just
because you breathe was in short supply, although her strong Neptunian energy around her moon
probably kept her weaving fantasy and idealization around how it actually was, and kept her pining
away in search of that emotional setup. So the child develops extraordinary ways of getting their
needs met by being ultra-responsible, dutiful and controlled. Responding to others needs and never
letting anyone down. Moon/Saturn is usually quite vulnerable and scared of being hurt so they will
always conform to elicit approval, conforming was the currency for love. Moon/Saturn people often
end up in a mothering position, like a Mother Hen, even playing mother to their own. All of these
combinations lend themselves to this caretaking or fix/change pattern in the personal area, trying to
fill her own needs and longings for emotional security.

Sun/Moon - one of the most important midpoint structures for relationship in Uranian astrolology.
And bingo, not only do we find that whole structure with the Moon-Neptune/Saturn midpoint with
the Meridian on the side, dialing us back into that adaptive fix-change/caretaking problem, but we
find the planet Pluto here as well. Pluto, the planet of death, rebirth and transformation is telling us
that there needs to be profound transformation in this area of personal relationship , that old
patterns from the past that no longer serve need to die. And Hades is here on the side as well, the
planet of death, decay, the underworld as well as early emotional primal wounding’s in the life. The
Hades here can mean a few things, on one hand is another confirmation of difficulty in the
relationship area and someone who is terrified of the vulnerability here,

Sun-Moon/Hades witha 3-point picture with Pluto hooked right into the Meridian, confirming the
issues around relationship but also that this is a soul issue something to be worked on this lifetime.
The fact that there is Plutonian energy around it means that the possibilities for transformation are
there, but not before she has some real transformative experiences concerning relationship. It will
be a spiral and hopefully an upward one.

can block energy creating suppression. So with the Admetos/Poseidon we get a person with a lot of
mental depth. This is someone who would like to take her ideas and ideals and shine the light on
them in a profound and grounded way. Admetos/Poseidon is also the midpoint structure for
education. But the Admetos can also be blocking the energy of the Poseidon, the expression of her
ideal’s and what she’d like to radiate, and this is what appears to be happening.

Sun/Admetos here is saying Chelsea has strong needs to feel deeply involved in her work but that
there are feelings of restrictiveness, that she’s really not getting her needs met in this area. And
then rounding out this major structure we have a Sun/Neptune midpoint, someone who is highly
sensitive to energy and can use these sensitivities for the greater good, creatively, spiritually, or in
some kind of helping profession. But if not operating well we can have a negative outlook and there
can be a loss of ego strength and confusion or even depression at times around the career.

most specifically describes the mother as well as Chelsea’s
experience of her. And here we confirm our findings even
further. Venus/Pluto and the Mars/Jupiter, this was a passionate
mother with strong impulses who really loved her daughter but
with those power planets of Mars and Pluto she was pushy and
contentious.

A major structure sits around his Meridian, and remember the Meridian is the soul’s essence, the
point of individuality. Here we find Admetos in this 4 point symmetrical picture involving Mercury,
the planet of thinking and communication, the planet Uranus, the planet of individuality, personal
freedom, individual will, changeability and progressive views, and the Ascendant, his environment,
how he presents himself to the world, how others see him and his relations as well. And then of
course there is the Admetos which can work to deepen, stabilize and solidify energy or it can block
energy creating suppression.

The Mercury/Admetos midpoint structure reveals someone who
is a deep and serious thinker and whose thought are very
personal in nature, but it can also be someone whose thinking is
negative and pessimistic at times.

The Ascendant/Admetos midpoint structure tells us that we are

dealing with a person of depth, but also someone who tends to
be somewhat removed and detached, who doesn’t have the
ability to feel close to a lot of people and someone who will
always prefer a few very close relationships as opposed to the
larger collective.

Now let’s bring in the Uranus/Admetos midpoint into the

picture. Uranus is all about personal freedom and individuality
and there is no doubt that Prince George does have a highly
individualistic nature. But again the Admetos is telling us there is
some suppression around it, some anger. As a matter of fact in
Uranian astrology the Uranus/Admetos midpoint is one of the
classic midpoint structures for anger. But what’s this anger
around? A deeper look at the chart definitely reveals the
conflict.

Uranus/Hades midpoint structure. In a chart where there is nothing

softening a Uranus/Hades midpoint, such as other midpoint
structures around it like a Moon/Venus, or Venus/Poseidon, or
Venus/Jupiter, then what you often see is the Uranus/Hades
manifesting as a classic anger aspect, because the Hades can be
anxious, fearful, and the Uranus rebellious and disruptive. Also,
Uranus/Hades prominent in a chart is often an indicator off
something “off” in the character. What strengthens this
presupposition even more is the Mars, Vulcanus, and Neptune
completing a 3-point picture. And with that Neptunian energy in
there is also there, there is an enigmatic element that can be highly
deceptive or highly charismatic, and often both.

Jupiter/Poseidon midpoint on his Meridian axis (below) which really

expands the prophetic nature. Positively manifested a
Jupiter/Poseidon would be someone with a lot of wisdom or instinct,
but that’s not how it’s operating here. The Jupiter/Poseidon instead
expands on the obscured vision and the primal anger issues with
prophecy.

onto the Moon, where Hades makes a strong appearance again (see
below). Remember the Moon is not only the emotional unconscious
and the emotional nature, but it also represents the mother in the
early life and perhaps what she may have been dealing with. Here
you are getting that powerful cross-aspect, the 22.5 degree picture of
which Hades is a part. There were many heavy primal issues around
the mother, she was an alcoholic as well as a prostitute and had
Charles when she was very young. So you start to get this picture of
the early primal issues, the deep feelings of being unloved, the not
great character, the anger and the proselytizing-mythologizing
nature. Great example of Hades in negative manifestation.

the Sun/Meridian is one of the most important midpoint structures in

terms of career because it is a blending of the Sun, our divinity, that
which we would like to radiate, and the Meridian which is our soul’s
essence and the point of individuality. Now around this important
midpoint structure we have a Neptune/Hades midpoint.
Neptune/Hades can mean many things depending on the sensitive
points or structures it touches. Here, around the Sun/Meridian
midpoint, a career structure, the blending of Neptune and Hades can
work wonders in terms of humanitarian work or work in any of the
helping professions. Neptune, with its ability to see potential, with
its needs to abandon self and connect and merge with something
greater, find its directive from Hades realm and those who need help,
because that is what one is "attuned" to.

But we can also find Neptune/Hades around the Sun/Meridian

midpoint operative in charts where Neptune herself has been
dragged into the underworld, where she is not manifesting in a
creative state or in an individuated state of awareness, but in the lack
of feelings of self esteem, or a depressive situation around wanting
to do something more self expressive but not feeling able to. In this
situation, the soul path is illuminating the need to work through
some of the anxieties and stresses around doing something more self
expressive and the opposing feelings of "let's leave well enough
alone, don't bother, everything is fine," which involves recognizing
that it is a self esteem issue. In Oprah's situation, we know she is
involved in a helping profession, in humanitarian work, but we'd have
to get into her chart a bit deeper to see how that Neptune/Hades
structure is operating. She has openly spoken in her life about issues
surrounding her self worth and self esteem, and at the same time she
has clearly worked hard on her individuation and continual
refinement of her self expression because it actively manifests in
positive ways. This is really the beauty and power of the potential in
all midpoint structures....the continual refinement and potential for
change and development in the life.

Moon/Apollon can also represent someone who is quite open,

But what really adds dynamism to this Moon/Apollon midpoint

structure is that it also hooks in with Poseidon. Poseidon deals
with enlightenment and the illuminations of ideas and ideals. It
is very receptive and wants to illuminate out in the form of
higher understanding and wisdom. So the Poseidon combined
with that Moon/Apollon is someone who is a truth seeker,
someone quite perceptive and wants to ever "broaden" their
knowledge and understanding, someone who is benevolent with
the desire to put his expansive ideals/ideas out into the public,
exchange and shine the light on them with the wider world.

Mercury/Apollon midpoint structure around his Meridian. So Mercury deals with thinking,
communication, and with the Apollon we get expansive thinking, someone who is free and open
minded. And so on its own, the Mercury/Apollon midpoint on his Meridian can be someone who is
broad minded, gifted with dialogue, fertile in thinking and communication, and very conceptual.

Poseidon on the Meridian axis which means that it's part of that Mercury/Apollon midpoint structure
as well. This is a lovely combination. Remember the Poseidon is enlightenment, an illumination of
ideas, it’s someone who wants to shine the light on something. So this is someone who wants to
expand by thinking out of the box, a powerful orator with visionary ideas.

Zeus with its directed, creative leadership energy, blends here
with Uranus, the planet of reformers, inventors, technicians.
Uranus is the planet of individuality and personal freedom. It

potential to be a powerful orator.

of the ease of understanding we can substitute the “my.” In this

When I turned 48 last November I decided that I had had enough of all the
Saturnian tears on my MO/HA/JU and Admetos opposite (or rather) on my Sun
and that the stress of my boring existence was just too much to handle and
that I wasn't being true to who I was, just being a 24hr work-a-holic mom
("I'm stuck inside the life of drudge, always doing dishes..."). I was
tired of living on the highway with the constant susurush of the cars and
lack of walk-by customers. So I 'created' a crisis to have to deal with
(Ah the joys of the subconscious mind, "you are unhappy but don't want to
deal with it? well let's do something about changing it") and ended up
moving 60mi away from family, friends and customers to a wonderful house
on the shores of Clearlake California that was half the rent and the same
amount of space where the only annoyances were the noisy next door
neighbours who occasionally step out of bounds. (Like the 4th celebration
with the comment at full voice at each boom of the fireworks "Yeah!!!!!!!
Bring it on Home!". Oh plueeeze, after 300 of those you sort of want to
send HIM on home).
Now every morning instead of the traffic noise and the constant bump, bump
of the loose manhole cover, I look out at the quiet lake and see the
reflections all around of trees, sunlight and algae in the water. Some
mornings the lake is smooth as glass and then there are the mornings when
the wind whips up and the surface is extremely choppy. Just like life.
Here I am next to this giant reflecting pond and I'm actually happy. Put
a water sign next to water and the psychic energies come to the surface
full force. Now my big thrill of the day is to see Carp leaping out of
the waters and listening to the thwack of their bodies as they come back
down.
On Admetos in Taurus:
Eileen Nauman of Athena Garden mentioned that Taurus was a very psychic
sign. I had always thought that it wasn't. Thought that Taurians were
deeply involved with gaining money and possessions, but now upon
"reflection" I realize that there is intuitive wisdom which runs through
nature and therefore since Taurus is connected (rooted) to the earth that
I really shouldn't be cursing Admetos in Taurus aspecting my Scorpio Sun.
I should turn around instead and look clearly at the subtle undercurrents
which are flowing through Taurus and therefore me as it journeys through
my 2nd house. Now that SA is there approaching a conjunction, I need to
understand instead of fearing the worse. To top it all off, the big
eclipse that everyone is chatting about next year is at the same degree,
oh what fun.
Admetos allows (or 'forces' depending on your point of view) one to focus
on one subject or one detail. I looked up the combination in the Rules
for SU + AD and it said "Perseverance." Hmmmm, that sure sounded like the
way I was acting while desparately hanging onto a place of business and
home and not making enough money for all the bills but persevering every
day opening up my shop and taking orders through the internet (I have a
mail order sewing business). But it was not enough.
So I looked some more to see what else was in the mix. My natal SU is x
PL (Scorpio to Leo) at 18' - 19' fixed. With AD aspecting that midpoint I
looked up in the Rules under SU + AD - PL to find the following statement:
"Transformation." Ah! Now that makes a lot of sense. I have been
transforming in several ways. First of all there is the menopausal stuff
(memory departing, body changes, crankiness, etc), then there was the
change of environment, but most of all the transformation from the
work-a-day drone into fulfilling the seeds of my abilities on all levels.
Because these planets or energies are in fixed signs the changes and
transformations take a while, unlike the quick fast energy of cardinal
movement, to sink in.
Ok so I see that through perserverance there is transformation. Well I
could go on a diet and this time it WOULD be successful. Or I could start
a project and perserver and it could transform my money and career. Hmmm,
Penny maybe a revival of the Uranian Forum is indeed called for .... I
will have to look more closely at my "mix" to see.
Any idea where Bill Meridian is? Maybe someone else knows about the deep
space probes. Sure would be neat if Mr. Witte's calculations were
validated by the "scientific" world.

The transneptunians, so called because when Witte “discovered” the first four of these “planets” in
the 1920´s- Cupido-, Neptune was the most distant planet known, although they haven´t physical

Planetary Pictures:
The Planetary Pictures (PP) used by the uranian astrologers are simmetrical pair of midpoints that
share a common axis.

“A + B – C = D” is a shorthand for a planetary picture, where A/B and C/D are the two pairs of
midpoints that share an axis (the line connecting the midpoint and its opposite point). The “D”
position is known as the sensitive point. The definition of the planets occupying “D” describes the
answer to the question as a promise of the natal chart.

The Dials:
The dials are precision instruments used to accurately measure the dynamics of the personality and to
accurately forecast events. The 90º dial, for example, is used to identify planetary aspects and
planetary simmetries without difficult; grouping planets by cardinal, fixed and mutable qualities. It
gives to the astrologer a mighty tool to check the inner relations within the chart.

Many activity and impulse for the matters of 3rd. house (writings). Moon conj. Saturn in 3rd: Mo / Sa:
self-control, care, attention, consciousness.
Another view point: Moon (the soul), Saturn (Orient). Hesse wrote a lot of
books about the "oriental soul", about the "oriental customs" (Do you remember one of his most
famous books: "Siddharta"; and "Journey to the East?). Moon conj. Saturn sextil Pluto potentialize his
creativity.
Pluto is ruler of 11th house: he attain his professional objectives writing.
Neptune (ruler 3rd) sextil Sun: sensibility; receptivity to all the impressions, inclination to mysticism,
spiritual life and inner life experiences.
Mercury is very angular, so it works by general analogy (comunication, writings). This Mercury is
ruler of 9th house: Hesse wrote about spirituality, philosophy.

with the ideas developed in "Siddharta", "Steppen Wolf", "Demian", " The Glass Bead Game", etc., at
the same time that the "Hippie Movement" appears in our century.
This projection has a main purposse: the teaching of a way of being (N.N. / Kiron). With his writings
Hesse attained fame and glory (Su/ Ju). In those days he was present in the thinking of many people -
including me -.

The "Pluto / Hades" in Hesse´s chart means his journey into the deeper grounds of the human soul.
The plutonian work: burning himself, dying and rebirthing in his seeking for the Meaning of Life, the
Meaning of God, the Meaning of the Being. The exploration for the "essence" of the things. And of
course, which energy is better than that provide by Hades for potentialize the working of Pluto´s
Hesse? ( I have never forgotten those words coming from Demian (in the book of the same name),
explaining to Sinclair the worship of the
God “Abraxas”: the god who represents the Good and the Evil, all included). This passage of the book
for me is the more clear description of the meaning of "Pluto / Hades" energy working in Hesse´s
mind.
With "Sa / M" in Hesse is impossible not to consider the "C.O.S.I."´s(“The Combination of the Stellar
Influences”-Reinhold Ebertin) description: a tenacious adhering to one´s objectives or aims in life.
Herman Hesse was completely coherent between his thinking and his way of life. So this midpoint
repeat the claims of his "Su/Mo", that we are examining now.
"Ve/Ju" is also a very highlighted presence in this author: "the joy of love, happiness in love"
(C.O.S.I.): this "Ve/Ju" turn me to remember another of his works "Narcissus and Goldmund": a true
and extrange love (with a bit of taste of "The Karamazov´s brothers" of Fedor Dostoievsky, but with
more complex relationships).
Perhaps "Ve/Ju" here is indicative of "Free Love"). Undoubtedly "Ve/Ju" was present in Hesse´s mind
when he wrote this book; allways regarding that this "Ve/Ju" is intimately connected with his "Su/
Mo".
Finally we arrive at Mars´s energy. This Mars certainly acts like a dynamo in the whole structure of
Hesse´s "Su/Mo" midpoint tree. Again the “C.O.S.I.” gives perfectly the idea represented: " the urge
to bring to fruition ideals and wishes". In Hesse this was the need to write all what he think about
Live, Love, Peace, God, and other trascendental matters.

Now we can examine the sensitive points for being an author in Hesse´s natal chart.
First we must know that a “sensitive point” becomes important when it equals a natal, directed or
transit factor (M, 0º Ar., Su, A, Mo, N.N.)-, by directed or indirected contact.

all this energy is deposited. So is Pluto one of the planets that take the commitment of attaining the
objectives stated by "Su + Ne - Me". I have no doubts that the plutonian energy is continuously
flowing through the writings of Herman Hesse. The invitation to dye and rebirth in every act of one´s
life. Hesse´s life was a series of crises and new beginnings. At least two times in his life, he was
directly related to suicide thinkings that never went more far that only suicide ideas.

Interpretations of Ne = A/M are:

COSI: ...The misfortune to be surrounded by deceitful or bad people.
Rules: To be deceived by others...
Within a couple of days I will also have Sa = A/M, which indicates "having professional difficulties;
separation from others." (Other positive interpretations are possible, of course.)
While I can attribute Ne= A/M to a hacker sending bogus emails, the addition of Sa = A/M is
manifesting with difficulties that my wife is now experiencing with her business (I am only indirectly
involved). She has finally split with her business partner amidst unfounded and acrimonious
allegations (from her ex business partner). My wife is experiencing Admetos = Sun / Moon all this
year, and her business difficulties started when Ad first activated her Su / Mo.
Ad = Su / Mo indicates "the end of a partnership" (Rules).

➳ What is Uranian astrology?

Uranian astrology, alternatively known as the Hamburg School of Astrology, is a relatively new
astrological system founded in 1923 by Alfred Witte. Its use of dials, midpoints, symmetry, eight
hypothetical planets, hard aspects, and the cardinal axis, as well as its concentration on six personal
points, separates it from other Western methods of astrology. Witte and other Hamburg School
associates were considered enemies of the Third Reich and pursued by the Gestapo during WWII, so
the practices of Uranian astrology seem (to me) rather scattered and incomplete in retrospect due to
the events that prevented its creators & developers from achieving the exact results they sought,
although it has since been built upon by modern Uranian astrologers. This branch of the study
discarded the application of the traditional twelve houses and rulerships, and with them its relevance
to the areas of life involved with those factors of astrology, but it does have its unique uses, and
many people continue to examine to this day the hypothetical planets that Alfred Witte and his
colleagues discovered so many decades ago.

➳ What, technically, are the hypothetical planets?

There is a zone beyond Pluto named the Transneptunian region, in which Alfred Witte & a student of
his, Friedrich Sieggrün, discovered eight points of energy whose existences have not yet been proved
or disproved. These points are used in standard Uranian horoscopes, and speculated to be among
what astronomers have labeled Transneptunians, Kuiper Belt Objects (KBO), Scattered Disk Objects
(SDO), or Oort Cloud phenomena.

➳ What do the hypothetical planets mean in a natal chart?

Hades: Hades represents the collective consciousness and is associated with karmic debts. Purpose,
responsibility, discernment, addiction, spirituality, destruction, and transformation are all themes of
Hades; its energy is very subconscious and covert. Hades is said to be the beginning of the soul’s
journey, where we begin to purify ourselves of our own evils.

Zeus: Zeus is the most mechanical of the Transneptunians, representing military themes, such as will,
determination, and taking orders. As the second part of the “soul cycle,” it marks the place where we

subconsciously inspirational force in Uranian astrology.

Vulkanus: Vulkanus teaches us of control. Its name derives from the word for “volcano,” which is
remarkably fitting considering that anger, temper, outbursts, and aggression are all associated with
this Transneptunian. Compassion is bred through Vulkanus’ lessons. Its objective in all of its “tough
love” is to allow us to become mighty and triumphant without violence.

Cupido: Cupido is associated with unity, love, and art. A major focus of its energy is relationships;
through this Transneptunian, the native will learn to open their heart and to love unconditionally.
Optimism is also a strong theme here, as is luck, the granting of wishes, and expansion.

Apollon: Apollon’s theme is possibility. It represents abundance, prosperity, fertiity, and expansion,
and operates by and large through the Law of Attraction and creative manifestation ( “reap what you
sow” ). Apollon encourages big hopes and dreams, and often rewards such positivity with tangible
results. Its energy is directed toward conquering dull, monotonous mundanity.

Admetos: Admetos teaches perseverance and represents living for the present moment rather than
what has or could’ve been. Clarity, acceptance, and the convergence point of the opposing forces of
change and stagnation are this Transneptunian’s themes. This is where we begin to understand how
our current experiences transform us into better versions of ourselves.

Poseidon: Poseidon is the Transneptunian of existentialist awareness; it is the point where higher
knowing results through channeling, philosophy, and meditation. Spirituality is Poseidon’s theme,
essentially, accompanied by a visionary quality and the concept of “unlocking” an advanced spiritual
self.

Kronos: Kronos is supposedly the highest of the eight Transneptunian levels, representing
superconsciousness and the core of the spiritual plane. Kronos is the apex self, continuously asking
the question “are you ready?” to encourage us toward refining our souls. It is almost a full circle, but
Kronos is more peaceful and wise than Hades as the culmination of your experiences rather than the
beginning of them all. Kronos is rarely tapped into.
