Main features of the prototype
The features of the developed prototype are:
 LCD display (showing the unit and balance)
 Communication between user and provider
 Prepaid recharge of energy meter.
 Intimation for low balance.
 Power cut occur if there is insufficient balance
 Cost effective
Overview of the Project
The working of the project is described in the fig. At first the GSM module is
initialized and it establishes a network for communicating with the user. After
initialization the controller checks the balance if it is above optimum balance then
the load is turned on. If the balance is below a certain value then the controller will
send a SMS for recharging the energy account.
