9 x 12 = 108 so there are 108 months in 9 years.
108 months + 3 months = 111months
Summer’s dog is 111 months old.

Convert 2:40 pm to 24-hour system = 14:40
Convert 3:20 pm to 24-hour system = 15:20

Time taken = 15:20 – 14:40


Time taken = 14:80 – 14:40
Time taken = 40 min

2. A car left a shopping mall at 6:30 pm and travelled for 47 min to reach a
restaurant. What time did the car arrive at the restaurant? Give your
answer in the 12-hour system.
Convert 6:30 pm to 24-hour system = 18:30
Time taken = 18:30 + 0:47
Time taken = 18:77
Time taken = 19:17
Convert 19:17 pm to 12-hour system = 7:17 pm

3. A ship left Port A on 14th April, 11:30 am and arrived at port B on April
15 at 5:15 am. How long did the ship take to travel from port A to Port B?

Time taken to travel on April 14: = 24:00 - 11:30 = 23:60 – 11:30 = 12:30
Time taken to travel on April 15: = 0:00 + 5:15 = 5:15

Total Travelling time: = 12:30 + 5:15 =17:45

Total Travelling time: 17 h and 45 min
