KEY:
1. Siemens LOGO! PLC which runs the traffic lights control program using
Logosoft software.
2. AC to DC Power supply for the PLC and expansion module for the outputs.
3. Expansion module for the discrete outputs (on/off) which switches the
relays ON and OFF.
4. Breaker for the PLC
5. Breaker for the signal lights
6. Breaker for the signal lights
7. Relay block for the different phases of the traffic lights. The interconnection
is as explained in the other document.
8. Relay for selecting ZESCO mains or solar power from the batteries.
9. Flasher unit for Flashing mode between 23:00 hrs and 05:00 hrs.
