WHAT IS GLOBAL GAMEPLAN
The Global Gameplan is an engaging, globally focused council simulation
where participants take on the roles of world leaders to collaboratively tackle
urgent international challenges. For one hour, the event space transforms into
a distinguished international forum, inviting teams to engage in meaningful
dialogue, structured debate, and the practice of diplomacy.
Each team represents a country's leadership and presents clear, actionable
solutions to global issues. The format encourages interactive exchange rather
than one-way presentations, allowing delegations to raise placards during
presentations to ask questions, challenge points, or seek clarification. This
creates a focused, fast-paced environment where a Moderator ensures fair
participation and a respectful atmosphere.
Teams follow a structured flow: starting with a concise opening statement,
proceeding to an interactive presentation of their roadmap with opportunities
for real-time questions, delivering an inspiring concluding speech, and
answering a final challenge question. Every team member plays a key role
from policy and technology to finance and foreign affairs ,answering questions
related to their area while maintaining a coordinated team voice.
At its core, Global Gameplan blends diplomatic skill with strategic thinking.
Here, success comes not from volume but from thoughtful negotiation, critical
analysis, and leadership that inspires. This event offers a unique platform for
youth to step forward as the leaders and problem-solvers of tomorrow in a
professional and intellectually stimulating setting.
Introduction to the Topics
TRADE AND TARRIF WARS
Trade wars and rising tariffs have become major forces shaping global trade,
impacting economies and communities worldwide. In recent years, nations
have imposed taxes, quotas, and restrictions to protect local industries from
foreign competition often sparking cycles of retaliation and escalating trade
barriers between major powers like the US, China, and the EU. While
protectionist policies can shield vulnerable sectors and safeguard jobs, they can
also raise consumer prices, slow innovation, and risk global economic
downturns.
Striking a fair balance is essential: countries must design strategies that support
their industries through targeted tariffs, subsidies, and smart regulations while
ensuring open, rules-based global commerce. International forums such as the
WTO provide mechanisms for dispute resolution and encourage cooperation to
prevent trade disputes from spiraling. Delegates must explore how short-term
domestic protection can be reconciled with long-term global prosperity, and
propose inclusive policies that integrate labor, environmental, and development
goals
GLOBAL HEALTH CRISIS
Global health challenges have become defining forces for human well-being,
deeply influencing economies, communities, and governments across the
world. In recent years, a combination of disease outbreaks, strained health
services, humanitarian crises, and climate impacts has tested the resilience of
both local and international health systems. While targeted investments in
health can protect vulnerable groups and reduce premature deaths, setbacks
such as declining vaccination rates, lack of skilled workers, and underfunding
hold back enduring progress for millions.
Striking a fair balance is essential; nations must advance their health systems
through increased funding, community-focused programs, and smart resource
management, while supporting global partnerships for information sharing and
emergency coordination. Bodies such as WHO set the stage for data-driven
solutions, rapid crisis responses, and accountability, encouraging nations to
align short-term emergency interventions with the long-term goal of universal
health coverage and better preparedness. Delegates must consider how to

TECH ETHICS AND PRIVACY
Ethics and privacy in technology have emerged as major forces shaping trust,
innovation, and governance across societies and industries worldwide. In
recent years, rapid advances in artificial intelligence, big data, and connected
systems have created new possibilities but also significant risks, such as data
breaches, biased algorithms, and the spread of misinformation. Efforts to
safeguard privacy and ethical values can protect individuals and organizations,
yet inconsistent rules, fragmented standards, and slow regulation often leave
gaps in accountability and public trust.
Striking a fair balance is essential; countries and companies must prioritize
ethics through inclusive design, transparent processes, and responsible
innovation, while fostering open collaboration on shared norms at the global
level. Leading organizations and international bodies are working towards
frameworks that guide ethical development, ensure privacy protections, and
align incentives with long-term social wellbeing. Policy makers and delegates
are called to advance these debates, making sure that short-term innovation

FORMAT & RULE
Setup:
1)The presenting team stands on stage.
2)Other teams sit facing the stage, each with a country placard.
3)A Moderator controls the session flow, allowing and timing questions.
Presentation Flow (10 minutes per team):
1. Opening Declaration (1 minute)
A concise and impactful purpose statement
by the presenting team.
2. Interactive Roadmap Presentation (6 minutes)
The team presents each roadmap point
covering:
Problem Statement
Solution
Challenges
Innovative and realistic suggestions
Major beneficiaries
Finances
Relevant policies
Technology (if applicable)
Foreign relations
Other teams may raise placards at any point
to ask questions (maximum two per team).
The Moderator permits questions on the spot,
with the presenting team responding
immediately.
3. Rallying Speech (2 minutes)
An inspirational, uninterrupted speech
summarizing the delegation's vision.
4. Final Challenge Question (1 minute)
One last question from the floor, answered
briefly by the presenting team.
Rules for Interaction:
Each team will have to answer at least 2 questions.
Questions must be constructive, relevant, and respectful.
The Moderator ensures fair timing, balanced participation,
and prevents any one team from dominating.
Team Structure:
Each team consists of 5 members simulating a realistic national
leadership:
1)Head of State / Prime Minister (Team Leader)
Leads the delegation, delivers opening and closing speeches, answers
major questions, and coordinates team responses.
2)Minister of Policy / Governance
Presents policy aspects and addresses domestic implementation
questions.
3)Minister of Science & Technology / Innovation
Covers technology and innovation, responding to scientific feasibility
queries.
4)Minister of Finance / Economy
Explains economic planning, funding, and sustainability, answering
budget-related questions.
5)Minister of Foreign Affairs / Global Relations
Focuses on diplomacy and international cooperation, handling
questions about treaties and partnerships.
