guidance and assistance through out my intership period with him. I equalty
thank Dr MBANYUY Godwin for the knowledge he has impacted in me as for
as the wood work technoloy is concern.

Special thanks also go to my lovely wife madam KENGNE Aimmée for her

CHAPTER ONE
INTRODUCTION

Intership is period when students p indergoing training in institutins if


learning are sent to wakeshoops industries and enterprises to improve their
pratical and technological knowledge in this period , the student on intership
are expected to achively involve in all tje activities of the interprise that concern
his field of study.

This intership report is aimed at giving a brief summary if not a complete image
ig what look place during the student’s stay in the enterpris within the intership
period.

Back grounf sfudy

During my intership period in ETS NYABON Menuseri l realired that there


were lapses during project execution.

Projects consttruction did respect technological noms. Poor utilisation of


machines and hand tools aspects led to much time consumption during
execution.

To remedy this situation , the work shop suppervition had to male use of some
standard priciples of consttruction and rules and regulation when using wood
machine and hand tools .

Objectives of intership

The intership has the following objectives


To accquire and improve on pratical knowledge
To familiarise students with industries environments ans functionality of
modern engineering and technological modalities.
Improve management skills of the students.

CHAPTER TWO
Presentation of the enterprise (ETS NYABON Menuiserie ) Mbouda .

ETS NYABON menuiserie was created 2019 and the aim is to transform wood
using wood machnist and apprentiship in carpenter and furniture torilding. ETS
NYABON also wood products.

ETS nyabon menuserie is equiped with the following wood machine .

Awood planer with a capacity to plane boards of width 500mm

A spinder maukder
A tchidenerser
A circular saw
A mortiser will sharpening sig attatched to is these are also modern
portable saniding tools.

Organisation of ETS NYABON menuiserie carrefour bamendjinda mbouda

 Manager he is incharge direching the averall activities of the enterprise


 Casier she is the one incharge of billing and collection and giving out
finances
MACHINIST : he is incharge of operating and controlling all the machine
activities . he is also charged with the training of apprentices and
maintenance of equipment in the work shop.
Sales person : he is incharge of every sales that is made in the enterprise
and also serves as store keeper .

PROBLEMS ENCONTERED AND POSSIBLE REMEDIES

During my intership,in the ETS nyabon l enconrered the followin difficulties

The work shop layout did not respect the required standard
No respedt of standard noms during realisation of projects
Machine maintenance was not carried out following stipulated
procedures
Workshop dressing code we not prorly respect
Tools maintenance and utilistation was the best
Proposes solutions to the above mentioned

PROBLEMS

Workshop layout shoukd respect stiulated standards


Workshop rules and regulation shoukd be pasted up in the workshop and
very visible
Workshop toals shoukd be well sharpend , oiled and kept in a clean box
Dressing code should also be well observed

CONCLUSION
The intership was very succesful despite the difficulties enconted the
supervisor was very receptive cooperative and well discipline.
