SAP LE (Logistics Execution) Configuration Steps

1. Organizational Structure

1.1 Define Shipping Point

Path: SPRO → Enterprise Structure → Definition → Logistics Execution → Define, Copy,


Delete, Check Shipping Point

Example: Shipping Point SP01 – Main Plant Shipping.

1.2 Assign Shipping Point to Plant

Path: SPRO → Enterprise Structure → Assignment → Logistics Execution → Assign Shipping

Example: Assign Plant 1000 → Shipping Point SP01.

1.3 Define Loading Point

Path: SPRO → Logistics Execution → Shipping → Basic Shipping Functions → Define Loading

Purpose: Specify physical loading areas within a shipping point.

2. Shipping Configuration

2.1 Define Delivery Document Types

Path: SPRO → Logistics Execution → Shipping → Deliveries → Define Delivery Types

Examples:

Set controls: delivery category, number range, billing relevance.


2.2 Define Number Ranges for Deliveries

Rule: Based on Shipping Point + Plant + Storage Condition.

2.7 Define Packing Material Types

Used for handling units (HU).

3. Transportation Configuration

3.1 Define Transportation Planning Point

Path: SPRO → Enterprise Structure → Definition → Logistics Execution → Define, Copy,

Example: TPP1 – Central Transport Office.

3.2 Assign Transportation Planning Point to Shipping Point

Path: SPRO → Enterprise Structure → Assignment → Logistics Execution → Assign

3.3 Define Shipment Types

Path: SPRO → Logistics Execution → Transportation → Shipments → Define Shipment Types

3.4 Define Shipment Cost Document Type

3.5 Assign Shipment Cost Type to Shipment Type

4. Warehouse Management / Stock Transfer

4.2 Assign Storage Location to Plant

4.4 Assign Warehouse Number to Plant/Storage Location

4.5 Define Storage Types / Sections / Bins

5.1 Define Output Types for Delivery
