Teaching is a very noble profession ( Abdul Kalam).

Teachers helps the students to be


independent, skillful, critical thinker and guide them towards their dreams. Listening to every students
problems and motivates them to continue what's best for them is one of the characteristics of being a
good teacher in the future. Students considered the school as their second home and the teachers are
their second mother, it very important for the teacher to be observant all the time, so that the students
could feel that they are belong, important and loved.

I believe that being a future educator is not only end inside the classroom but also a guidance
counselor. And I can say that this is one of the reasons why the teachers need to gather information
about their students in order for them to fully understand the students behavior because as I had
observed all the students had different behaviors , to be able to connect with them I think I/ we shoud
kow them first. There are a lot of challenges that I had faced during my practice teaching in Grade 2
students are very noisy and hard to control that's why I need to think a strategy that could take interest,
this is the time that I can say being a teacher is not an easy job it requires passion,. During my
demonstration teaching in grade 2 I learned a lot and came ton realize that varied activities during class
discussion is important because it helps the students to understand more about the lesson.
Collaborative activity is a good strategy that will help the students express their ideas and enhanced
their communication skills. Some challenges that I had faced is when it comes to speaking English
fluently . I admitted that sometimes I spoke vernacular during class discussion but I'm trying to improved
myself and be better. Time flies so fast , I remembered when I had my first day I was excited and
nervous at the time, and leaving them is a bit sad but grateful for the experiences I had in five months.
By looking at their genuine smiles, laughter's, listening to their stories, crying without valid reasons,
fixed their uniforms and hair, being a nurse every day when they had stomach ache, head ache, and
sometimes with their nonsense issues with their classmates makes me sad knowing that this would be
the last month for me as their student teacher .

I will surely missed all of these and treasured it as part of my Pre- Service Teacher journey. I am
grateful and blessed. I had a lot of realizations in this journey , that I can make it possible if I will try my
best , believe in myself and spend a lot of time to the things that needed to be prioritized.
