Subject: Recommendations for Enhancing the OBE Syllabus of the Civil Engineering
Department

Respected Sir,

We are writing to you following a recent review of the Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
(OBE System) syllabus by our o ce. The syllabus was presented to us by a group of RUET
students during their internship at the Public Works Department (PWD), Dhaka.

We commend the department on developing a comprehensive and forward-thinking


curriculum. Based on our practical experience and the evolving needs of the public works
sector, we have identi ed several areas where the syllabus could be further enhanced to better
align with current industry standards and challenges.

For your kind consideration, we have enclosed a detailed document outlining our speci c
feedback and suggested modi cations. We believe these recommendations will be valuable in
re ning the program to even more e ectively prepare graduates for successful careers in civil
engineering.
