Little Cloud Detectives

I live high above and
look like feathers or
horse tails. I’m light and
never cry. Who am I?

I’m big and fluffy like

cotton candy. I float on
sunny days. Who am I?”
I spread across the sky
like a gray blanket and
block the sun. I don’t
pour, but I might drizzle.
Who am I?

When I come, grab your

raincoat! I’m dark and
full of water. Who am I?
I look soft and high, like
a brushstroke in the sky.
I never bring rain.
Who am I?

I’m white and round,

and I float happily on
bright days. You might
want to nap on me!
Who am I?
I’m flat and gray, and I
stretch far. I don’t make
noise, but I might make
you sleepy. Who am I?

I come with thunder

and lightning. I’m dark
and loud. Better run
inside! Who am I?
I look friendly, but I hide
a storm inside. I’m
heavy with water and
ready to pour.
Who am I?

I’m quiet and soft, and I

spread across the sky
like a big blanket.
Who am I?
