VISION AND MISSION
Vision:
As an active media to develop knowledge, skills, and achievements in many
aspects of English Language.

Mission:
1) Socialize the importance of English in our lives to further increase the student's
awareness and motivation in learning English.

2) Devise creative and innovative programs to help enhance the student's ability
in the basic skills of English taught at campus.

3) Promote active English speaking in the campus to encourage the student's to


practice their English more frequently and increase their fluency.

1. Monthly Meeting

Strengths:
Monthly meeting ran well every month.
Monthly meeting could be the place for internals to evaluate the events
along the month.
Monthly meeting always conducted every single month.
Weaknesses:
Some internals were not able to join the meeting.
Sometimes monthly meeting was conducted too suddenly.
Suggestions:
All internals should come and join monthly meeting as well.
English Club Internals should make an exact date for conducting a
monthly meeting.
2. Room Maintenance

Strengths:
We held room maintenance almost daily.
We held huge room maintenance once every two months.
We maintained the needs in the English Club room well.
Weaknesses:
Sometimes, the internals didn’t come to conduct the room
maintenance.
We were losing some of our stuff.
Suggestions:
All of the internals should come and conduct the room maintenance.
Internals should make an inventory for English Club stuff.
3. English Day

Strengths:
There were so many people who were enthusiastic at the first trial of
English Day
It helped a lot towards students, staff, and lecturers to speak in English.
Weaknesses:
At the following week when English Day held, the people had to be
reminded by English Club’s internal to speak in English
Sometimes we forgot to share the broadcast to all groups
Suggestions:
English day should be conducted efficiently the following week.
English day should be remembered at least day-1 by the English Club.
4. Social Media Activity

Strengths:
We were able to upload consistently in every week
We could share the documentations of our activity on
Instagram.
Weaknesses:
We had to be reminded to do the duties
We were being late when submitting the materials
Suggestions:
The internals should be more punctual regarding the schedule
The internals should be more responsible when it’s time to make
the contents
5. Campus Visit

Strengths:
This program could introduce English Club STBA LIA
Yogyakarta to others.
It held in other universities
Weakness:
Some internals could not attend the program.
Suggestions:
The internal members should participate in Campus Visit.
6. English Gathering

Strengths:
The committees were responsible and enthusiastic in carrying out this
event.
The schedule of the event was well-made and ran smoothly.
The participants liked the games provided by the committee.
Weakness:
Some internals were not able to join the event.
Suggestion:
All internals should come and join the event.
7. NUDC Competition

Strengths:
The Debate Team could adjust themselves well during the
competition.
The Debate Team placed at 1st place in multiple rounds.
The Debate Team had good communication.
Weaknesses:
They lacked of debate training facilities.
They had less time for preparing.
Suggestions:
For the next team, they should be provided with enough facilities for
debate training
For the next team, they should allocate more time for training
8. JDF Competition

Strengths:
The team was good at communicating.
The team was cooperative.
Weakness:
They lacked of preparation.
Suggestion:
For the next team, they should prepare the competition
away before the day of the event.
9. Intensive Debate Training

Strength:
The program ran well regularly.
Weakness:
The debate team did not understand the debate rules at
the first training.
Suggestion:
For the next intensive debate training, the debate team
should know the debate rules well.
LARGE SCALE
PROGRAM
1. Welcoming Party
Strengths:
Welcoming Party ran well.
There was great cooperation among the members of the
committee.
Weakness:
There were only a few participants who joined the event.
Suggestion:
The next Welcoming Party should be promoted as wide as it can.
2. Social Service

Strengths:
Social Service ran successfully.
The ingredients were easy to find.
We made more food than we expected.
Weaknesses:
The committees sometimes had a miscommunication.
We lacked volunteers.
We didn’t have enough tools for cooking.
Suggestions:
For the next Social Service, the committees should build good
communication.
For the next Social Service, all committees should join the programs.
For the next Social Service, all committees should prepare the tools
completely.
3. International Class
Strengths:
International Class ran well.
There were so many participants as we had not expected.
The committees were cooperative.
The participants were so enthusiastic.
The speakers were so friendly while delivering the material.
Weaknesses:
The device which was used for the day of the event sometimes had a little
problem.
The committees were not prepared yet for dividing the participants into break
out rooms.
Suggestions:
For the next International Class, the committees should make sure all the
devices needed are in good condition.
For the next International Class, the committees should prepare to divide the
participants.

SUGGESTIONS
For the next chairperson, he or she should be responding fast and
easy to be contacted so it will be easier to discuss everything
needed.
For the next chairperson, he or she should be good at managing
his/her time.
SECRETARY
STRENGTHS
They were able to work in a rush.
They were able to coordinate with other members.
WEAKNESSES
They were too hasty resulted in numerous errors on the works
They had to be reminded to do the job
SUGGESTIONS
For the future secretary, he/she should recheck the work so
often especially when it’s needed to be submitted
For the future secretary, he/she should make a reminder in
notes or apps
TREASURER
STRENGTHS
They possessed a good financial management ability to manage club’s
funds and expenditures.
They have a strong point on composing financial reports and other
related documents.
WEAKNESSES
They had difficulties in communicating with other outside parties to
acquire sponsorships and additional funds.
They might have a weak spot for experiences on financial risk
management and seldom save the receipt for the event’s expenditures.
SUGGESTIONS
For future treasurer, he/she should use technologies to assist
documenting and reporting of club’s financial statements
For future treasurer, he/she should participate in a financing workshop
or training courses to learn about the basics of financial risk
management.
Graphic Designer
STRENGTHS
They were able to collaborate with each other in dividing design
tasks.
They had good communication.
WEAKNESSES
They had some misunderstanding in giving and receiving
information.
Their editing designs and videos are less attractive.
SUGGESTIONS
For the next graphic designer personnel, he or she should try to
understand each other about providing design-related information
For the next graphic designer personnel, he or she should provide
suggestions on the designs created
Public Relation
STRENGTHS
They were able to be responsible for the specified job desk
They responded quickly whenever there were sudden meeting
schedules and so on
WEAKNESSES
They had difficulties for publishing an announcement
They had a lack of communication between public relations so
schedules are forgotten
SUGGESTIONS
For future public relation personnel, he or she should learn to
understand the announcement better.
For future public relation personnel, he or she should always
communicate with fellow public relations officers and the head of
the Student Activities Unit.
Debate Division Coordinator
STRENGTHS
He could take part in NUDC and JDF competitions.
He could facilitate JDF Detour events.
WEAKNESSES
He was not initiative to conduct regular debate training.
He was not able to promote the debate division well.
SUGGESTIONS
For the future Debate Division Coordinator, he or she should
be able to carry out debate practice once a week.
For the future Debate Division Coordinator, he or she should
be able to promote the debate division well.
Academic Division Coordinator
STRENGTHS
He was able to handle the program from the Academic
Division.
He was active in giving ideas and opinions.
WEAKNESS:
He left the responsibility while in the middle of his
presidency.
SUGGESTION:
For the next Academic Division, he or she should
commit to his/her responsibility until the end.
Project Division Coordinator
STRENGTHS
She was able to run several programs that were already
planned.
She was able to embrace the members to carry out the
program.
WEAKNESSES
There was project that have not yet been ·implemented
(English competition).
She was less able to manage her time.
SUGGESTIONS
For the future Project Division Coordinator, he or she should
try to be able to run all the programs that have been planned.
For the future Project Division Coordinator, he or she should
be able to manage his/her time.
