 The concept or strategy I will apply to your future interviews,

either before, during, or after an interview

A concept that I will use for my future interview is the STAR method
( Situation, Task, Action and Result) when responding to behavioral
questions. This method will help me to organize my thoughts clearly and
provide examples showing my skills and experiences matching with job
description. By applying for STAR, I could make my own answers more
structured and memorable for the interview. It also helps me to be more
confident because I know how to explain my past experiences in a way that
points out my strengths and problem-solving abilities.
 Feedback for Interview One: Fikrija.
Three things that she has done well
- Speak fluently and confidently
- Some answers are well structured, especially answers of
accomplishments, and stressful situations. The answers also linked to what
she learnt and the experiences she has gained.
- At the end she asked questions which are not mandatory, but she
showed that she wants to learn and contribute to the company
Three things she needed to improve
- Some answers are too short, some answers are too long, which do not
follow the job description. When she talked about herself and linked with
skills, she did not mention exactly what those skills were.
- She did not have any materials to prepare for the interview
- She may have prepared the environment surrounding to avoid
disruption.
 Feedback for Interview Two: Kirsten.
Three (3) things she has done well
- She is well prepared before the interview, having her resume and job
posting in front to make sure her answers match the requirements
- Speak fluently
- Some answers are well organized; she showed her experiences and her
skills when dealing with situations also.
Three (3) things she needed to improve
- Speak more confidently
- Answers should mention what she has learnt when talking about
difficulties or solving problems
- Should have questions at the end to show enthusiasm about job,
After reviewing both interviews
I would hire Fikrija, even though some questions she has not done well, her
overall answers show her strong learning spirit and enthusiasm for the job.
Some answers also showed her skills, what she has learnt after solving
problems in the past, which means she is willing to learn and not afraid of
new environments.
