Task 1
The two maps illustrate some changes of the way that people accessed to a city hospital between 2007
and 2010
Overall, the main things were changed in these maps are intersection upgrades with the update of
facilities and bus stations around the hospital
From 2007 to 2010, as in the map, instead of a straight road which connected city road and hospital ,the
biggest change is there are two new roundabouts have been built. One was built next to the city hospital
and the other was in the City road. They were linked together by the hospital road
Besides, six small bus station as in 2007 were removed to build a new road. So in 2010, the big new bus
station was constructed. The parking place in 2007 was used by both staff and public which located next
to the Hospital Road. However, in 2010, that area was just a staff car park. The new public car park was
moved to the East of the hospital.

Task 2
Nowadays, a lot of people move abroad either to study or to immigrate and settle down. However, a
serious issue has emerged, which is the challenges when you live in a country that speak a different
language. This can lead to social and practical problems and I agree with it
One of the most significant social problems faced by immigrants in foreign coutries is the language
barrier. First, it’s difficult for immigrants to build relationship with their neighbor. When they can’t
understand eachother, it’s relly hard to make friend and they’ll feel lonely. Sencondly, language barrier
can cause cultural misunderstandings. This problem make people misunderstand in the way they talk and
it prevent the integration process and make tit difficult to join the community. Furthermore, it can have a
negative impact on our mental health, it’ll make ús feel stress, anxiety or depression.
On the other hand, they may face difficulties in daily communication. Some easy things like shopping,
using public transprt or going to the doctor will be difficult when they can’t understand local language.
Also reading signs, maps or asking for help can be hard. Next, it can be challenging when they are
looking for a job because it requires they to communicate by local language. People who speak that
language well can also feel that local language is very complex. So the solotion for this is the government
can supply immigrants some free or cheap courses to help they pass the language barrier. For example,
some coutries like Germany has provided free courses for immigrants to help them integrate into the
community.
In conclusion, living in a foreign country where a different language is spoken can cause both social and
practical difficulties for immigrants. However, through some ideas like language learning courses and
community support, these challenges can be solved, allow immigrants to live more comfortably and
contribute more effectively to their new communities.

Camera( grammar book pg 187)
Nowadays, cameras are a big part of our life. People use them every day to take pictures of places,
people, and events. I agree that cameras have changed how we see the world and how we enjoy special
moments.
First of all, cameras help us see more of the world. Like when we cannot travel, we can look at photos
and learn about different countries, cultures, and people. For example, we can see pictures of famous
places like the Eiffel Tower or the Great Wall of China. This helps us understand the world better and feel
closer to that places. Besides, cameras can help tell important stories. A single picture can show the truth
about wars, natural disasters, or climate change. People around the world can see what is happening and
feel more connected.
Second, cameras have changed how we celebrate special occasions. In the past, people only had
memories to remember of it but now, we can take many pictures and videos of birthdays, weddings, or
holidays. These pictures help us remember happy times and share them with family and friends, even if
they are far [Link] the other hand, some people take too many photos and forget to enjoy the moment.
They care more about taking the perfect picture than having fun. Also, with social media, people
sometimes compare their life with other people and feel unhappy.
In conclusion, I believe cameras have changed the way we see the world and enjoy special events. While
there are some small problems, cameras help us remember important moments and learn more about the
world.
