SOCIAL MEDIA AUTOMATION


Difficulty Level = Intermediate

Welcome to the Skool Games 💪

Over the next two weeks you will work with your assigned teammates to develop an n8n
workflow that will automate social media content crea?on. Please find the project details
below:

1.1 Problem Statement

Small businesses struggle to maintain a consistent social media presence. Content crea?on
requires ?me, crea?vity, and technical skills many businesses lack. Without regular, high-
quality content, companies lose visibility, engagement, and poten?al customers.

1.2 Why This Problem

At Kamexa, we get approached by small business owners all the ?me to automate their
content produc?on and pos?ng. This represents a significant boMleneck for many
businesses. By solving this problem, you'll address a real market need with substan?al
demand.

2. Project Details

Build a comprehensive n8n automa?on workflow that handles the en?re social media
content lifecycle with minimal human interven?on.

2.1 Project Scope

Required Automa5on Components:

• Content Idea?on: Overcome writers block – Never run out of content ideas
• Content Research: Find the sauce
• Content Crea?on: Produce the actual content
• Content Pos?ng: Schedule or publish to appropriate plaUorms
Pla<orms to Support:

• LinkedIn
• TwiMer/X
• TikTok
• Instagram

Content Types:

• Text posts for TwiMer/X and LinkedIn


• Short-form videos for TikTok and Instagram (HARD)
• Image-based posts (Op?onal)

2.2 Project Details

Niche:

The workflow should be tailored for a company in one of these niches:

• AI and Automa?on
• Roofing company (HARD)

Key Challenges to Address:

• Value: Content must provide actual value to the audience


• Authen5city: Output should not feel AI generated
• Affordability: Solu?on must be cost-effec?ve for small businesses (high ROI)
• Adaptability: System should be adjustable for different requirements (produc?sed)
• Reliability: Workflow must func?on consistently without the need for frequent
manual interven?on
• Compliance: Content must meet plaUorm-specific requirements

Op5onal Features:

• Voice to content – Speak into your phone and have posts created (special thanks to
Wojciech for this idea)
• Content Repurposing – Turn one piece of content to mul?ple new pieces of content
(content waterfall)
• Human in the loop
• Open sourced / Locally hosted
3. Important Dates

Start Date: 26th of March

Check-in Date: 2nd of April

Demo Day: 6pm EST - 9th of April

4. Project Check-ins

On the 2nd of April, each team will have a 30-minute checkin session with Kia. During this
session you can:

• Present current progress


• Discuss challenges faced
• Ask ques?ons (op?onal)

Exact ?mes will be announced closer to the date.

5. Deliverables

• Complete n8n workflow (exported JSON file)


• Brief documenta?on explaining workflow components and setup
• Sample content outputs
• Brief explana?on of how the solu?on addresses the key challenges
• Demo day presenta?ons – show off your workflow

6. Prize

Each member of the winning team receives:

• A community branded automa?on T-Shirt with their name on it


• Free 30-minute one-on-one with Kia to ask any ques?ons about automa?on or
running an agency
• Opportunity to become Kamexa’s automa?on partner – we’ll refer you business
• Featured YouTube video on Kia's channel showcasing your solu?on (op?onal)

The biggest prize is the las?ng friendships you’ll make and the template you can now resell
for $5,000 USD+

7. House Keeping

7.1 CommunicaIon

• Connect with teammates via Skool. Exchange contact informa?on promptly to


establish efficient communica?on channels.
• If team members are unresponsive, please let Kia know asap!

7.2 Teamwork

• Distribute tasks so everyone can have a go.


• Establish regular check-ins.
• Be crea?ve and listen to ideas. Remember – Planning is the most important part of
development

7.3 QuesIons

Please post all ques?ons in the compe??on feed as comments on the related compe??on
post. This ensures all teams have access to the same informa?on.

8. OpportuniIes

This solu?on has significant market value:

One-5me implementa5on fee: ~$3,000 - $5,000 USD per client

Subscrip5on model: ~$1,500 USD monthly for ongoing social media management

Teams are encouraged to commercialise their solu?ons arer the compe??on.

9. Important Note

There is no single "correct" approach.

Be crea?ve in how you implement each component of the workflow. The best solu?ons will
balance technical sophis?ca?on with real-world prac?cality.
