CONCEPT
DEVELOPMENT
Concept: The Regenerative Destination
Name: The Apex Station
Inspiration: Apex, meaning the highest point or culmination, signifies the station as
the peak of charging technology and user experience.
Core Idea: Integrated Comfort Architecture.
This idea unites the two halves of my design: the high-tech canopy and the
amenity building. It states that architecture must provide total comfort to
optimize the user's forced "dwell time."
The canopy is the regenerative element (harvesting energy), and the amenity
hub is the restorative element (restoring the human traveler).
The naming suggests the design achieves a culmination of efficiency (fast
charging), sustainability (solar), and human quality of life (lounge, cafe, green
space). It is the highest standard for future transportation hubs.

STRUCTURAL DETAIL
The building is supported by
two main materials—strong

work together to make the
structure both tough and
visually appealing.
