PART 1 :
Topic 2 : Talk about your hometown
1. What do you like best about your home country ? why ?
- To be honest, I would say I like everything. But what I like the most
maybe its privilege in natural landscapes. I mean my city is well-known
for having incredible sceneries everywhere from the fine sandy beaches
to the east to green chilling forests to the west.
2. If you go to study abroad, what Vietnamese items will you bring to
introduce to your friends?
- Well, if I were to study abroad, I'd definitely want to share some unique
aspects of Vietnamese culture with my friends. One thing I'd bring is

Vietnamese coffee filter. It's something my friends must try to experience
the richness of Vietnamese culinary culture.

Someone who is open-minded, respectful, and supportive would be ideal
for me.

dating? Where did you date? Where would you like to date and why?

restaurant where we could have meaningful conversations and get to
know each other better.

and other health issues.

-

nutritious. Additionally, I also enjoy cooking for family and friends, as it
allows me to express my creativity in the kitchen and share delicious
meals with loved ones.
Topic 5: Let's talk about the way to make friends.
1. Do you have many friends? why or why not?

close friendships I have, as they allow me to connect deeply and
authentically with others.
2. Would you like to make friends? why or why not?

- I think spending quality time with my parents is a great way to strengthen
our bond. This could involve engaging in shared activities, such as
cooking together, going for walks, or watching movies. Additionally,
simply having meaningful conversations and catching up on each other's
lives helps us connect on a deeper level and understand each other better.

find everything I need in one place, and I appreciate the diverse range of
goods available, from groceries to household items.
2. What do you usually buy at the supermarket?

household items like cleaning supplies.

for buying fresh produce, meats, and seafood, as well as for the vibrant
atmosphere and social interactions with vendors.
PART 2 : SOLUTION DISCUSSION
Situation 1: A student has just graduated from a foreign language university.
Which job to take:
- A tourist guide(V): I would like to travel around the world and make new foreign
friends.
- a Translator (X): It’s boring
- a teaching position in a language center (X): there are a lot of pressures like time,
salary, etc.
--------------
Well the given situation is that ( đọc lại đề ) A student has just graduated from a
foreign language university.
And with that situation comes three options ( đọc option ) A tour guide, A
translator, A teaching position in a language center.
Were I in this situation, I would definitely go for option number 1 for many
reasons.
The first reason is that ( lí do + ví dụ ) As a tour guide, I would have the
opportunity to visit diverse places and meet people from all over the world,
improving my communication skills and connecting with individuals from various
backgrounds.
The second reason is that ... Leading tours to different countries and destinations
would allow me to immerse myself in various cultures, cuisines, and educational
experiences, enriching my knowledge and broadening my perspectives.
The other two options have some good points. ( Điểm tốt )
- Translator can make a lot of money.
- Tutors at the english can improve teaching skills.
However, I still don’t choose them as they have some drawbacks.
First of all, ..a translator....... is not suitable for .......... because .....having worked as
a translator before, the job was boring and the job risks are too high. If translator
incorrectly, it can cause serious consequences.
Secondly,........a tutor.... is not suitable in this situation because ....... for me
personally, I don't have the knowledge or experience in teaching. And teaching
requires perseverance and enthusiam.
In short, ..( chọn )..... will be an ideal choice in this situation for the above
mentioned reasons.
Situation 2: Which of the following is the best holiday plan for you and your
family?
-Staying at home so that your younger brother may have more time to
prepare for the graduation
-> I want to spend time so my younger brother can review more thoroughly. We
can go after my brother finishes his exam. This allows me to support my brother’s
academic goals.
->
****** Going to beach and visiting my grandparents can help me have a more
complete summer vacation.
-Spending the holiday at a beach resort -> sounds enjoyable, it might be better to
postpone it to a time when my brother’s finished exam. This way, me can ensure
that he has the necessary time and support to succeed in his studies before
indulging in leisure activities.
-Visiting your grandparents in the countryside -> is a lovely idea, but since my
recently visited them last week, it might be better to prioritize other activities this
time.
