Welcome Note
It gives us great pleasure to welcome you all to Helwan University for the
Third International Science Conference: Science and Environment – ISC3. This
gathering is more than an academic meeting; it is a message that science and
the environment are inseparable in building a sustainable future.
Today, humanity faces serious global challenges—climate change, pollution,
loss of biodiversity, and resource depletion. These are issues that demand
collective action and innovative scientific solutions. As Albert Einstein once
said: “We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we
created them.”
This conference brings together distinguished scientists and experts from many
countries, creating a platform for dialogue, collaboration, and knowledge
exchange. We hope that the discussions and research presented here will lead
to new partnerships and practical outcomes that serve both humanity and
nature.
On behalf of Helwan University, I thank the organizing and scientific

Overview
International Science Conference (ISC) is an annual conference on advanced sciences
and its impact on our world, being organized by Faculty of Science Helwan University.
The 3rd International Conference deals with Science and Environment, it will convene
at Helwan University, Ain Helwan, Cairo, Egypt 13-14 October 2025 at Art and Culture
complex. It aligns with Egypt’s Vision 2030 and United Nations Sustainable
Development Goals (SDGs). The conference aims to allow scientists, researchers,
environmental professionals to exchange experiences, new ideas and research
results on all aspects of science development and its Environmental applications
worldwide. ISC3 makes all branches of basic and applied sciences and the associated
research fields more discoverable, opening doors for collaboration, and reducing
duplication of effort. It will bring together global researchers, policymakers,
environmentalists, and industry leaders to address urgent environmental challenges
through scientific innovation. The conference emphasizes interdisciplinary
collaboration to advance sustainable solutions for climate changes, biodiversity loss,
pollution to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends, and concerns
as well as practical challenges encountered, and solutions adopted in the fields of
basic sciences that is related to climate changes, deforestation, resource
management, reducing waste, pollution of major resources and investing in green
technologies to save environment. The conference includes three different satellite
tracks addressing the most important environmental challenges. The first track
concerns the role of botanical gardens in achieving sustainable development goals
and reducing the impact of climate changes. The Second track concerns case Studies
on Oil and gas projects and their environmental impacts and panel discussion titled
"Water, Environment, and Climate“ and the Third track deals with carbon footprint,
its measurement, and its implications for environmental sustainability.
