About the Role
Are you a student who enjoys designing and building robust, scalable systems? We are
looking for a talented Back-End Engineer Intern to join the T-Home team for a 6-month
internship. You will play a key role in developing the services and APIs that power our
applications, handling the logic and data behind our customer-facing services. This is a
fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience with server-side development and
potentially secure a full-time role through our Pre-Placement Offer program.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications and services.
• Work with APIs to ensure seamless communication between the front-end and back-
end systems.
• Develop and optimize database schemas and queries to handle high-volume data.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and system reliability.
• Collaborate with other engineers to design and implement new features and services.

Qualifications and Skills


• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data
Science, or a related field.
• Proficiency in at least one back-end programming language (e.g., Python, Java,
[Link], Go).
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and service-oriented architecture.
• Familiarity with database systems, both SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and
NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB).
• Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design principles.
• Experience with Git and a willingness to learn new technologies.

Pre-Placement Offer (PPO)


This internship is designed to be a direct path to a full-time position. Based on your
performance and contributions throughout the internship period, you will be considered for a
Pre-Placement Offer to join the T-Home team as a full-time Associate Back-End Engineer
after your graduation. The decision for the PPO will be based on a comprehensive
performance review at the conclusion of the internship, including a review of your project
work, technical skills, and cultural fit.
