Script with Dialouge
Scene 1 – The Setup
INT. STOREROOM – EVENING
A cluttered rooftop storeroom. Old books, dusty furniture, and a big cardboard box with
wires and fairy lights – their homemade TIME MACHINE. Seven kids sit around it in a circle.
RAFI (proudly adjusting wires): Behold! The world’s first real time machine… made
in Bangladesh!
NADIA (rolling eyes): It’s just a box with Christmas lights.
PRIYA (munching chips): Can it go to a time where I already had dinner?
SHUVO (climbs into the box dramatically): Okay, Professor Rafi. Send me to the
future!
ALL (chanting): Time machine! Time machine! One… two… three!
Lights flicker. When they return, the box is empty.
Scene 2 – The Shock
TUHIN (screams): He’s gone! He’s really gone!
The box rattles. SHUVO emerges, strangely serious.
SHUVO (FUTURE): I saw it. Dhaka in the future! Flying rickshaws… robots selling
fuchka… no load-shedding!
AYAAN (wide-eyed): Whoa. That’s exactly what I always imagined!
NADIA (suspicious): Or… you’re just making it up.
Scene 3 – The Double
The door creaks. Another SHUVO walks in, holding a Coke can.
SHUVO (REAL): Why are you all staring? I was hiding in the bathroom!
The kids scream. Now there are two Shuvos.
SHUVO (FUTURE): Don’t believe him! I’m the real Shuvo… from five years ahead.
SHUVO (REAL): Liar! I’m me! You’re just copying my face!
Chaos. Kids argue. Mitu stays quiet, staring at the box.
Scene 4 – The Dilemma
MITU (softly): What if… both are real?
Everyone stares.
MITU: What if the machine broke time… and now there are two Shuvos?
RAFI (grinning): That means it works! We’ve changed the universe!
NADIA (angry): Or maybe we destroyed it.
TUHIN: We should turn it off before something worse happens!
Scene 5 – The Twist
The box glows, humming loudly. Blinding flash. When it fades, the room looks different –
shifted, as if from another time.
NADIA: Wait… this isn’t the same room.
PRIYA: My chips… they’re gone!
On the walls: photos of the kids at different ages – teenagers, adults – all posing in the same
room.
AYAAN (whispers): These… these are us. But from the future.
SHUVO (FUTURE): Don’t you get it? We didn’t build a time machine to travel… we
built it to remember.
MITU (trembling): What if we’ve already been here? What if we’re stuck… replaying
this forever?
The room flickers. Movements stutter. Laughter echoes from overlapping timelines.
NADIA (screams): We’re not traveling in time… Time is traveling through us!
The box hums one last time. Darkness. Children’s distorted laughter echoes.
