Nowadays, the dramatic development of internet helps us a lot in our communication.
Otherwise,
some people have a bit concern that it is also harmful to users who depend too much on virtual
environment. I partly agree with the second statement.
Internet bring us a convenient way to connect with other people. Indeed, with your smartphone
or computer and some simple click, we can call, chat or receive massage from our close people
instead of moving too far to meet offline. Omline platforms also support for social media, which
helps us explore more about the world ,supply abundant interesting resources, or find some new
friends. The benefits of Internet can not be denied.
However, online world is easily addictive and cause harm to its users by reducing time for
socializing in real life. According to the latest statistics, there are more and more people especially
teenagers lack social and soft skills which are crucial and neccesary for their work. For example,
you can respond to your boss’s request when you are online but in the company, you will have
struggle if he or she needs your answer immediately. Therefore, the face-to face interaction plays an
important role no matter how internet develops.
In conclusion, Internet has both advantages and drawbacks. We should balance between the time
we spend on accessing it and communicating in the physical world. In the context that Internet is
developing dramatically today, keeping offline contact is precious.
