Salam Walekum,

Israel values this conference as we seek solutions for LGBTQA+

rights in the Middle East.
In Israel, we have made significant strides in recognizing and
protecting the rights of our LGBTQA+ community. We understand
the importance of ensuring equal rights for all, regardless of sexual
orientation or gender identity.
In comparison with other countries in the middle east like Syria,
Lebanon, and Iraq we have advanced a lot with the focus on
LGBTQA+. There are no laws against the discrimination of LGBTQA+
persons, supporting and anti- discrimination for homosexuality and
so on in these countries. While we support them and do not allow
the discrimination of the people in LGBTQA+.
In conclusion, Israel is eager to collaborate and achieve positive
change in the Middle East’s approach to LGBTQA+ rights.
Thank you.
