I usually wake up at 6:00 a.m. every day when my alarm goes o , although I often snooze for an extra 5 or 10 minutes.
Unlike me, my young father typically turns o his alarm and goes back to sleep. I finally get up at 6:30 a.m., stretch
my arms, legs, and back, and head to the bathroom to wash my face and brush my teeth, as I prefer to freshen up
before breakfast.
My grandfather and father often prepare dishes in advance and freeze them, allowing us to quickly heat up ready-to-
eat food like soup, fried fish fillet, or stewed beef. Occasionally, they buy out broken rice, rice noodles with grilled
meat, spring rolls, and vegetables. I also enjoy Western foods like hamburgers or croissants with butter and jam. My
family opts for lean protein sources like chicken, fish, and legumes that help reduce bad fats and supports muscle
growth. We often replace foods high in saturated fats with those rich in unsaturated fats, such as nuts and olive oil,
that further enhance our overall health. I usually drink a glass of milk with my breakfast and try to finish eating in 5
minutes. Afterward, I clean up the breakfast dishes and get dressed.
My father often drops me o at school at 7:00 a.m. I check attendance on time, and the typical school day begins at
7:30 a.m. Students move through a series of 45-minute classes covering subjects like mathematics, science,
literature, and history. A short mid-morning recess allows for a snack and brief socialization, followed by more
classes until a longer lunch break. The afternoon session continues with additional lessons, and homework
assignments ensure that learning continues at home. The academic day typically ends at 4:00 p.m.
My evening routine includes sports practice. From Monday, Wednesday and Friday, I participate in a swimming
session at the local pool, starting at 5:30 p.m. Each session, lasting about two hours, focuses on various strokes,
endurance training, and breathing techniques essential for competitive swimming. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, I
also attend additional mathematics classes from 5:30 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. After completing extracurricular activities,
I return home, take a shower, apply skincare, and do my homework. I go to bed at 10:00 p.m, I often fall asleep around
10:15 p.m., so I can recover and restart my daily routine tomorrow.
As the weekend approaches, my focus shifts to basketball. On both Saturday and Sunday, I join my team for practice
sessions that commence at 8:30 a.m. These intense sessions emphasize drills, strategic plays, and teamwork. My
English classes are scheduled from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday evenings. My English class
covers grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, and writing skills through interactive activities and discussions.
Thus, the academic and extracurricular activities not only enhance my athletic prowess but also instill discipline and
time management in my daily life. Through this daily regimen, I develop essential skills such as perseverance,
organization, and e iciency. Moreover, it helps me to prepare for future challenges, teaching me the value of
dedication and hard work.
