001 Energy Analysis – Part 1
Hello, everybody, and welcome back.
This will be our first video over three videos discussing the new way of
energy analysis and review 2022. The old method was available in the
previous versions of IT 2021 and 2020 and to 2019. But in 2022 it was
cancelled and only the new method is available.
So you have to be aware of the techniques and the steps that we have to
make in order to make the analogy analyses successful.
To start with, we go to analyse and there is this panel called energy
optimization we have the location,We'll click on the location to specify

make a search again search and it will select Sacramento,California will
pick one of the weather stations that we want to assign to our project,
and that wouldinclude all of the data and through the different years,

So I'm going to rename that and I'm going to delete it and call it
meeting and say, OK, I'll come to the seven a.m. and make it zero eight
and I'll make it zero. And then at the six p.m., I'll make it zero.
And the 7pm on Mic Zero as well at eight and nine would make them zero.
So I changed how things will be controlled. I'll call it meeting. It's a
new one two duplicate of an existing one. I'll say, OK, and I'll change
these three two meetings as well.
OK, great. That's what I want. I'd say, OK, so I defined everything over
here except for cafeteria. I'm going to select it and click over here and
say, for instance, dining and have a dining area and, uh, occupancy.
I can't leave these things as as as it is, or I can add, change it to
what I want. So at the moment, I'll leave it as is.
I will not change anything which is in, you know, you can change it if
you want to, but I'm not going to change it. Just I change the type of
the space so it will be taken care of as as the total thing.
Think so? Normally, what we have to do is to go as well to their space.
Number two, and define these things again, as we did.
Of course, we have to forget about the plans the chases, the staircase
and the elevator because we did that, but the others had to be defined.
