Analysis of I-Group radicals (CO32-) [Group Reagent: Dilute H2SO4 Test]

One gram of salt is taken sulphur/suffocating gas
in a test tube and one drop

NOTE: If no changes are observed on treatment of the salt with dil. H 2SO4, then we need to

CH3COO- are present, they respond to hot conc. H2SO4 only.
