Script for Mr. and Ms.
Sportsfest 2024
Intro: Good afternoon Balsik National High School! True champions aren’t always the
ones that win, but those with the most guts. With this year’s team, “Embracing
Sportsmanship across Generations”, we will witness as 12 dazzling candidates showcase
their incredible wit and talent, as they vie for the title of Mr. and Ms. Sportsfest 2024. I
am Mam Josa, your host for the most exciting and most awaited highlight of this week-
long Intramurals. This is the Search for Mr. and Ms. Sportsfest 2024.
Prayer: Before we start, may we request everyone to please stand for the singing of the
nationalistic song which will be followed by a prayer to be led by Mam Evangeline D.
Tala.
Welcome Remarks: You may now be seated. To formally welcome us is this afternoon’s
event, may we call on Mam Maria Cecilia Flores, Head Teacher III, for her welcome
remarks. A big hand please.
Introduction of the Board of Judges: Thank you Mam Cez for that inspiring message.
They say that beauty is relative. What may be beautiful to one may not be to another.
That is why, we invited distinct judges who truly have an eye for beauty. Here’s Mam
Medalla Era Cruz to introduce our panel of judges.
Criteria for Judging: Thank you Mam Medal, and to our judges.
Now, I’m pretty sure that everybody is wondering how our candidates will be judged
especially since this pageant is not only about glamor and poise, but also a test of one’s
character as well. To give us the criteria for judging, we have the true beauty queen of
our school, Mam Danmarie Rodriguez.
Production Number: Thank you, Mam Dan. Wow! This will truly be an afternoon that all
of us will remember. Are you all ready to meet our lovely and gorgeous candidates? Let
us not make this waiting any longer, let’s give a warm welcome to our stunning
candidates for their production number.
Intermission number: There you have it! At this point, our judges might have their
bets or faves from our candidates, but wait, there’s more to anticipate as we move on to
our program. And to keep our energy flaring, let’s give a big hand to JHS Zumba Dancers
for an intermission number.
Sportswear/Attire: Thank you JHS Zumba Dancers for that lively performance. Are you
excited to see our candidates once more? Let’s give a resounding applause to our
candidates as they take the stage on with their sportswear.
Awarding (Part 1): Thank you candidates, and they will be right back after a short
while. During this week-long event which started on Monday, we’ve witnessed as
different grade levels show their teamwork, determination and dedication, on winning
various games and competitions. But before we award the certificate of winners from
grades 7 and 8, let us first recognized the efforts and hard work of our equally talented
and dedicated tournament managers who are behind the success of these events. May
we call on Mam Medal to award the certificate of appreciation for tournament managers
which will be followed by the awarding of winners from Grades 7 and 8.
Talent Portion: Congratulations Grades 7 and 8 winners. In every competition,
candidates take time to demonstrate that they are not just looks but talent as well.
Ladies and gentlemen let’s give it up for our candidates in their talent presentation
starting with Grade 7 representatives. Let’s give them a resounding applause.

To give our judges some time to relax and contemplate on our winners, we will have
another awarding of winners from Grades 9 and 10. May we request Mam Jhanice
Alcance to award their certificates.
Sports Advocacy: Once again, congratulations to our winners.
Now we are down to the last part of this competition. It is the time for our candidates to
prove that they don’t just have beauty and talent, but also have wit and intelligence. It is
also the last chance for them to convince our judges that they are the one who is worthy
of the title for Mr. and Ms. Sportsfest. Let’s give a big hand to our candidates for their
Sports Advocacy.
Awarding (Part 3): Thank you candidates. Now, while we wait for the judges to
tabulate the scores, and to heighten our anticipation, let us have the awarding of Grades
11 and 12 winners. We have Sir Gerald Abella to announce the winners.
Farewell Walk of Mr. and Ms. Sportsfest 2023: Thank you Sir and congratulations to
our winners.
Before we welcome this year’s Mr. and Ms. Sportsfest, let us give a moment to last year’s
title holder as they have their Farewell Walk. Let’s give them a round of applause.

As we move towards the most anticipated part of our event, let me award the certificate
of appreciation to our board of judges. Let me read the citation.
Announcement of Mr. and Ms. Sportsfest 2024: Once again, thank you Mam and Sir
for gracing our event. And now, the moment that we are all waiting for. Who will be this
year’s Mr. and Ms. Sportsfest? May we request our judges, please remain on stage for the
announcement of our winners.
Closing Remarks: Congratulations to our Mr. and Ms. Sportsfest 2024, and to everyone
who participated in the entire sportsfest week. None of these would be possible without
the effort and dedication of our very diligent Sports Coordinator. Let’s give a big hand for
Mam Medalla Era Cruz for her closing remarks.
