Learning Roadmap
1. Introduction to Databases (SQL): At this stage, he will learn how information is stored and
organized in databases. SQL is a language used to talk to databases. He will start with very simple
commands like showing data, adding new information, and updating it. Projects can include storing
scores of his games, keeping a record of students' marks, or a list of his favorite books.
2. Learning About APIs with FastAPI (Basic Level): APIs are how different programs talk to each
other. With FastAPI, he can create very simple connections, like building a small "Library App" that
shows books or a "Pokemon App" to store and get Pokemon stats. This stage will not be very
advanced but will give him an idea of how websites and apps share information.
3. Math for Machine Learning (Fun and Practical): Before learning machine learning, he will need
some math skills. This will not be taught in a boring way but through games and experiments. For
example, using dice to understand probability, making graphs and charts of his cricket scores, or
calculating averages of superhero powers. This makes math useful and exciting.
4. Introduction to Machine Learning in Python: Now he can start exploring how computers can
"learn." Using simple libraries, he will build projects such as predicting house prices with toy data,
teaching a computer to recognize his handwriting, or making a small chatbot. These projects will be
very visual so he can see the results clearly.
5. Deep Dive into Machine Learning (Later, around age 12): Once he is comfortable, he can go
deeper into advanced topics like neural networks, image recognition, or building more complex
chatbots. This stage requires more maturity, so it will come later.
6. Agentic AI (Later, around age 13 and above): Finally, when he is older and has a strong base, he
can explore advanced Artificial Intelligence, such as how ChatGPT works or how to create AI
agents that can plan and act. This will be the most advanced stage and only suitable when he is
ready.
Summary: The learning journey will go step by step, starting with strengthening his Python skills,
then learning about databases, understanding how apps talk to each other, and slowly moving
toward Machine Learning and AI. The focus will always be on keeping it simple, practical, and fun
so that your child enjoys the process and builds strong skills for the future.
