TEACHERS’ DAY, AND WORLD TEACHERS’ DAY
CELEBRATIONS: Giving Back to Our Modern Heroes the
BALES Way
Activity Description Balugo Elementary School will be conducting
activities relating to the celebration of the World Teachers
Month including the World Teacher’s Day and National
Teacher’s Day celebration on October 5, 2025. The activities
will be lead and participated by the teachers, staffs,
students and the GPTA of the school to honor the dedication
and contributions of the men and women in the teaching
profession.

Rationale:
Pursuant to the Presidential Proclamation No. 242 titled Declaring the Period
from September 5 to October 5 of every year as the National Teachers’ Month, as well
as Republic Act No. 10743 titled An Act Declaring the Fifth Day of October of Every
Year as the National Teachers’ Day and its Implementing Rules and Regulations and

the Designation of the World Teachers’ Day every 5 th of October by the UNESCO.
The celebration aims to:
a. honor and celebrate those who are in the teaching profession
b. acknowledge and emphasize the crucial role, loyal service, and dedicated
commitment of teachers in developing globally minded citizens, nurturing
families, strengthening communities, and building the nation
c. revitalize the image of and respect for teaching as a vocation by increasing
public awareness of the value of teachers in the Philippine society
d. take the occasion as an opportunity to build the image of teaching as an
attractive and fulfilling profession
e. generate widespread support and assistance for teachers, and
f. express gratitude for the positive influence of teachers on Filipino learners
Terminal Objectives:
By the end of the session, the teachers will feel the recognition and gratitude of
the whole BALES community to their role in shaping the lives of learners,
strengthening their sense of purpose and commitment to the teaching profession, and
fostering deeper motivation to continuously improve their craft.
Enable Objectives:
To show appreciation for teachers' hard work and dedication.
To acknowledge the crucial role of teachers in developing globally-
minded citizens.
To recognize the loyal service and commitment of teachers to their
students and the community.
To revitalize the image of teaching as a respected and fulfilling
profession.
To express gratitude for the positive influence of teachers on Filipino
learners.
To promote the importance of education and the role of teachers in

Expected output/outcome:
To foster a culture of gratitude and appreciation for teachers.
Success Indicator:
All teachers attended the celebration, have positive feedback regarding the
recognition and support they received, and a noticeable boost in teacher morale and
