All (Cheerfully, hands in the air): Cuti-cuti Malaysia, We’re ready to go! Pack your
bags, Let’s start the show!
Group 1 (Pretending to carry a backpack): We wake up early, It’s holiday time! But
where’s my sock? Oh no, it’s not mine!
Group 2 (Acting sleepy): Mummy says, “Cepatlah sayang!” But I’m still in bed… My
brother shouts, “Are you alive or half-dead?!”
All (Giggling): Malaysia holidays, so much to do! From kampung to island, to city
view!
Hari Raya Aidilfitri
Group 1: Time for Raya! Baju Melayu on! I look so handsome, like Abang Aaron!
Group 2 (Laughing): We eat ketupat, rendang, kuih and then run outside, “Heyyy,
join selfie!”
All: Salam-salam, duit raya! I get one ringgit and shout, “Ayah, why ya?!”
Chinese New Year
Group 1: Gong Xi Fa Cai! Time for Yee Sang! We toss it up high, It lands on mak lang!
Group 2: The lion dance roars, my baby cousin cries, he hides under table, covering
his eyes!
All: Firecrackers boom! Grandma jumps back, Then says, “Aiyo! I almost got heart
attack!”
Deepavali
Group 1: Lights are glowing, so beautiful, so bright… But I stepped on murukku, now
I can’t walk right!
Group 2: We eat gulab jamun, we dance in a line, but I just spin round and crash into
a sign!
All: Deepavali joy, With colors so cool! We sing, we laugh, We break a stool!
Kaamatan & Gawai
Group 1: Off to Sabah, Off to Sarawak, We dance and cheer, In beautiful batik sarong!
Group 2: We try to sumazau, Go to Kundasang, oh what a scene! Gunung Kinabalu
right into our eyes!
All: So many cultures, So much to share, Even when we fall, We laugh and care!
Merdeka & Malaysia Day
Group 3: Merdeka! Merdeka! We shout with glee! I wave the flag, it hits a tree.
Group 4: We march like soldiers, So proud and neat! But my seluar koyak, You can
see my feet!
All (Laughing together): Malaysia, oh Malaysia, Funny and fun, We love our holidays,
Every single one!
All (Slow and sweet): We are young Malaysians, brown, yellow and fair. Different
and special, but full of care.
All (Loud, strong, happy): So, let’s laugh together, Under the sun, Malaysia holidays…
Are number one!
