Assalamu’alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.

Good morning everyone!

We are from Grade 3 Egypt, SDII Al Abidin Surakarta.
Today, our group will present a fun and exciting science experiment.
The title of our experiment is “Firework in the Water.”
Let us introduce our group members:
My name is …
and these are my friends.
Hi,I am…
Hello I am …
And I am ….
We hope you enjoy our presentation!

🔥 What is the experiment about?

This experiment is called Firework in the Water because we will see how a firework can still
sparkle even when it is put into water.
It looks very beautiful — like magic! But it’s actually science!
🧪 What we need:
To do this experiment, we need:
One sparkler (a small safe firework stick),
One glass jar or cup filled with water,
A lighter or match.
And safety gloves and goggles.
Remember, this experiment must always be done with an adult or teacher.
Safety first! 👍
🧭 These are the Steps of the experiment:
1. First, we prepare the glass filled with water.
2. Next, we light the sparkler carefully.
3. When the sparkler starts burning and making bright sparks, we slowly put it into the water.
4. Let’s watch what happens! Wow! The sparkler still burns and shines under the water for a
short time! 🎇
🔍 So my friends, What happens? These are The Science Explanations.
Usually, fire needs oxygen from the air to burn.
When we put fire into water, it should go out, right?
But this time, the sparkler keeps burning even inside water!
Why?

Because the sparkler powder has its own oxygen inside the chemicals.
It doesn’t need oxygen from the air — it brings oxygen with it!
So it keeps sparkling for a few seconds under the water.
That’s why it looks like a beautiful firework dancing in the glass!
💡 What we learn:
From this experiment, we learn that:
1. Fire needs oxygen to burn.
2. Some materials can make their own oxygen.
3. Science can explain things that look like magic!
4. We must always be careful and safe when working with fire.

Thank you for listening to our presentation!

We hope you enjoyed our experiment.
Don’t forget to visit our stand of Egypt class there!
See you next time and have a wonderful day!
Wassalamu’alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh. 🌸
