Focus: Volume Analysis and Reporting.
1. Objective
To ensure timely and accurate analysis of fuel volumes, truck transport
efficiency, and offloading performance at retail stations, supporting data-
driven decisions for optimal operations.
2. Scope
This SOP applies to volume-related analysis across fuel stations and
transportation within the petroleum distribution network.
3. Responsibilities
Track and analyze daily/weekly/monthly fuel volumes.
Prepare and submit volume-related reports.
Coordinate with logistics and depot teams for data accuracy.
Highlight volume trends, variances, and inefficiencies.
4. Key Tasks & Procedures
A. Fuel Offloading Analysis at Stations
Collect daily offloading data from stations.
Verify against dispatch and delivery documents.
Analyze discrepancies, or shortfalls.
Prepare summary reports with key insights.
Submit reports to Sales & Operations by end of each day/week.
B. Truck Transport Analysis
Track fuel dispatched vs. delivered per truck.
Analyze turnaround times, delays, and idle times.
Monitor transport volumes per route/region.
Generate efficiency metrics per truck or contractor.
Report findings with recommendations.
C. Volume Tracking & Reporting
Consolidate volume data from all depots and stations.
Generate daily/weekly/monthly volume performance dashboards.
Identify sales trends and volume growth/decline.
Flag anomalies and report to Sales Manager.
