Welcome to today’s Day 3 seminar on Upskilling Teachers
in Early Language and Numeracy, with a special focus
on the Science of Reading. I’m elated to be here with you KATHY: Thank you very much Ma’am Rome. We are
all as we explore more the powerful research behind how fortunate to have this kind of seminar to guide us into the
children learn to read and how we can apply these findings heart of today's discussions. Moving on, another admired

KATHY: Thank you very much Ma’am Ahyee. We are KATHY: Thank you very much Ma’am Judy An. It is my
honored to have some esteemed educators with us today hope that, by the end of this seminar, each of us will walk
away with a deeper understanding of how to make the most
of SLAC as a tool for improving our craft and, ultimately,
helping our students succeed.
As we come to the conclusion of today’s seminar, a heartfelt
gratitude to the resource speakers who have truly enriched
us with their expertise, insights, and the time they've
devoted to share their knowledge. Now, May I call in Dr.
Wilma P. Soriano together with Mrs. Michelle Mercado to
