Title: The Friedman Test
Slide 1: Introduction
Script:
"Hello everyone! So today, we’re going to talk about the Friedman test. Super chill lang ‘to, don’t worry! So, basically,
the Friedman test is like a way to check if different treatments or methods have different effects. It’s super helpful if
your data isn’t following the usual normal distribution na ginagamit sa ANOVA.
pangmalakasang pang-test."
Slide 2: When to Use the Friedman Test
Script:
"Okay, so when do we actually use the Friedman test? Simple lang! Una, kapag may three or more related groups
tayo. Like, kunyari, nagpa-test ka sa same group of people three times using different study methods. Next, kapag
normally distributed. In short, kung paulit-ulit kang nag-test sa same people and gusto mong malaman kung may
difference, ito na ‘yun!"
Slide 3: Assumptions of the Friedman Test
Script:
"Bago natin gamitin ‘to, meron tayong kailangan i-check. Una, ‘yung data dapat ay either ordinal or continuous.
Ibig sabihin, parang same group pero iba-ibang
treatments. Lastly, dapat may at least three
related groups.
Slide 4: Hypotheses of the Friedman Test
Script:
So, basically, gusto nating malaman kung totoo bang walang difference or meron talagang isang mas
effective na method."
Slide 5: Friedman Test Formula
Script:
"Okay, math time! So may formula si Friedman test, pero no worries, hindi natin kailangang i-memorize. Basically,
kinukuha ‘yung test statistic by ranking, summing, and then computing based sa given formula. Tapos, ‘yung final
Slide 6: Steps to Perform the Friedman Test
Script:
"Now, paano siya gawin? Pangalawa, i-
Step by step lang, promise, kayang-kaya ‘to!"
Slide 7: Problem and Analysis using the Friedman Test
Script:
"So let’s have an example! Meron tayong 6 students at nag-try sila ng three different study methods—Method A,
Method B, and Method C. After gamitin lahat ng methods, record natin ‘yung scores nila. Now, gamit si Friedman test,
Game, let’s compute!"

your data isn’t following the usual normal distribution na ginagamit sa ANOVA.
pangmalakasang pang-test. Example: Imagine may tatlong different skincare routines, and you want to check alin sa
kanila ang pinaka-effective sa same group of people. Perfect si Friedman test for that!"
Example: Let’s say may tatlong types of workouts—cardio, weights, at yoga—tapos gusto mong
malaman kung alin ang best for weight loss. Since same group of people ang gumamit ng lahat ng methods, pasok si
Friedman test!"
Slide 3: Assumptions of the Friedman Test
Script:
"Bago natin gamitin ‘to, meron tayong kailangan i-check. Una, ‘yung data dapat ay either ordinal or continuous.
Ibig sabihin, parang same group pero iba-ibang
treatments. Lastly, dapat may at least three
related groups.
Friedman test."
Slide 4: Hypotheses of the Friedman Test
Script:
Slide 5: Friedman Test Formula
Script:
"Okay, math time! So may formula si Friedman test, pero no worries, hindi natin kailangang i-memorize. Basically,
kinukuha ‘yung test statistic by ranking, summing, and then computing based sa given formula. Tapos, ‘yung final
Example:
Slide 6: Steps to Perform the Friedman Test
Script:
"Now, paano siya gawin? Pangalawa, i-
Slide 7: Problem and Analysis using the Friedman Test
Script:
"So let’s have an example! Meron tayong 6 students at nag-try sila ng three different study methods—Method A,
Method B, and Method C. After gamitin lahat ng methods, record natin ‘yung scores nila. Now, gamit si Friedman test,
Slide 9: Interpreting Results
Script:
significant difference.
Slide 10: Advantages and Disadvantages
Script:
"Like any test, may pros and cons si Friedman test.
for ordinal data.
deeper analysis. Example: Imagine you’re comparing three different workout routines—pwede siya gamitin kahit hindi
Slide 11: Conclusion
Script:
"So ayun na! The Friedman test is super helpful kapag may repeated measures ka at hindi normal ang data. It’s a great
alternative to ANOVA and can analyze multiple conditions effectively.
