Other strategies to make “differentiate instruction” successful are:

1. Differentiate homework: provide different homework that would


suit each student’s proficiency level. When you provide the same
assignment, some students will struggle and may not complete it,
and others would do it easily.
2. Collaborate: all professional should work together in order to
make this method more effective.
3. Use flexible group: these groups provide opportunities for the
students to be part of many different groups based on their
interests or learning styles. It helps the teacher to figure out what
the problem that his/her students struggle with. The teacher also
will be able to provide the right instructions to the right student at
the right time in the right way.
4. Make content comprehensible for all students: give the students
different ways to access the content like a simplified text, books
written in their first language etc.

Nowadays the characteristics of the American schools are having


students with different cultures, backgrounds, interests, learning
styles, and needs. Differentiate instruction is very effective in these
classes as it gives all the students equal access to learn the language.
