Section A – MS Word (15 Marks)


Q1. Create a Professional Letter (5 Marks)
• Draft an application for a job.
• Use Header & Footer (Name + Page Number).
• Line Spacing = 1.5, Justify alignment.
• Save as [Link] .

Steps: 1. Open MS Word → Insert Header → Add Name & Page Number. 2. Write the application with proper
format. 3. Font: Times New Roman, Size: 12. 4. Justify Alignment & Line Spacing 1.5. 5. Save the document.

Q2. Table & Formatting (5 Marks)


• Table: 5 Students, columns: Roll No, Name, Subject, Marks, Result.
• Apply Borders & Shading.
• Insert a Picture/Logo above the table.

Steps: 1. Insert → Table (5×5) → Enter details. 2. Table Design → Borders & Shading. 3. Insert logo →
Position above table. 4. Save as [Link] .

Q3. Mail Merge (5 Marks)


• Prepare an Invitation Letter template.
• Mail Merge with recipient list (Name, Address).
• Generate 3 invitation letters.

Steps: 1. Mailings → Start Mail Merge → Letters. 2. Select Recipients → Type New List. 3. Insert Merge
Fields. 4. Preview Results → Finish & Merge → Print/Save.

Section B – MS Excel (15 Marks)


Q4. Salary Sheet with Formula (5 Marks)
• Columns: Name, Basic, DA (20%), HRA (15%), PF (12%), Gross Salary.

Formulas: - DA: =B2*20% - HRA: =B2*15% - PF: =B2*12% - Gross Salary: =B2+C2+D2-E2

Q5. Marks Sheet with Result (5 Marks)
• 5 Students, Subjects: Maths, Science, English.
• Calculate Total & Average.
• IF function for Result: Pass if Average ≥ 40, else Fail.

Formulas: - Total: =SUM(B2:D2) - Average: =AVERAGE(B2:D2) - Result:


=IF(E2>=40,"Pass","Fail")

Q6. Chart Preparation (5 Marks)


• Use Average Marks to create a Column Chart.
• Add Title & Data Labels.

Steps: 1. Select Average column. 2. Insert → Column Chart. 3. Add Chart Title: “Average Marks of Students”.
4. Show Data Labels.

Section C – MS PowerPoint (10 Marks)


Q7. Presentation on “Digital India” (10 Marks)
• Create 5 slides:
• Title Slide (Background & WordArt)
• Introduction
• Key Features (Bullets)
• Advantages (SmartArt)
• Conclusion & Contact Info
• Apply Design Theme & Transitions.
• Add Custom Animation to text.
• Insert at least 1 Image/ClipArt.

Steps: 1. Open PPT → Choose Theme. 2. Create 5 slides with content. 3. Insert → SmartArt → Add Features.
4. Apply Animations → Fade, Fly In. 5. Save as [Link] .

Marking Scheme
• MS Word = 15 Marks
• MS Excel = 15 Marks
• MS PowerPoint = 10 Marks

Total = 40 Marks
