LAC REFLECTION
June 16, 2023
The Learning Action Cell session held on June 16, 2023, was an enriching and meaningful
experience that deepened my understanding of the Results-Based Performance Management
System (RPMS) and its connection to human resource development. Through the session, I
realized the importance of aligning content and performance standards with the actual teaching
practices we implement in the classroom. This orientation highlighted the critical role of teachers
in applying effective strategies to help learners master essential competencies. It also reminded
me that professional growth is continuous, and sessions like this provide the necessary guidance
to strengthen our practice.
What struck me most during the session was the clarity and relevance of the facilitator’s
message. The training emphasized not only the technical aspects of RPMS but also its purpose in
supporting teachers’ professional journeys and improving learner outcomes. The discussions
gave me a better perspective on how to properly prepare, organize, and present the required
attachments or Means of Verification (MOVs) for the Individual Performance Commitment and
Review Form (IPCRF). More importantly, I understood that these requirements are not mere
compliance but a reflection of our dedication and accountability as educators.
Overall, the LAC session inspired me to be more intentional in my teaching and documentation
practices. It was a reminder that every effort we exert, whether in preparing lessons, assessing
learners, or recording accomplishments, contributes to both our personal growth and the overall
improvement of our school community. I am motivated to apply what I learned by ensuring that
my IPCRF reflects not just my outputs but also my commitment to delivering quality education.
This session strengthened my belief that collaboration, reflection, and continuous learning are
vital in becoming more effective teachers.
