I am writing to respectfully submit a program proposal entitled “Community Funding


Initiative” This program is designed to build the capacity of our community leaders and members
to identify, access, and manage funding opportunities that can be used to implement projects that
directly address local needs. We are seeking your support through financial assistance in the total
amount of ₱40,000 to successfully implement this initiative. The program will be held at
barangay hall on October 5, 2025, with an expected number of 45 participants, composed of
barangay officials, youth leaders, women’s groups, and local volunteers. Your support will help
empower the community by equipping participants with the knowledge and skills to secure
funding and implement sustainable local projects. We hope for your positive consideration of this
proposal.

OVERVIEW

The Community Funding Initiative is designed to empower local communities by identifying,


securing, and managing funding sources that support grassroots development projects. The
program aims to build the community’s capacity to access grants, partnerships, and other
financial resources that can be used for infrastructure, education, health, and livelihood
programs.

By training community leaders and stakeholders on how to effectively propose, manage, and
utilize funds, this initiative promotes transparency, accountability, and sustainable development.

OBJECTIVES

 To raise awareness about local and national funding opportunities for community
development.
 To develop skills in project proposal writing and budgeting.
 To establish a functional community funding committee.
 To build partnerships with government agencies, NGOs, and private donors.
 To strengthen transparency and accountability in community project implementation.

BUDGETARY REQUIREMENTS

 Venue use/rental: 3,000


 Meals and snacks (45 pax x 2days ) 9,000
 Honorarium for trainers( 2): 10,000
 Training materials (kits and handout) :5,000
 Sounds systems and equipment rental : 3,000
 Transportation (resources persons): 4,000
 Miscellaneous : 3,000
 Tota estimated budget:40,000
