Ezitech – FrontEnd Intern Report

1. Introduction
Internships are an essential part of academic growth, bridging the gap between theoretical
knowledge and practical experience. My internship at Ezitech Institute has been a pivotal
phase in my journey as a web developer, allowing me to apply and expand the skills I had
acquired during my studies. As part of my academic curriculum at [Your University Name],
I had covered basic web development concepts, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with an
introductory focus on JsvaScript. However, the practical exposure I received during my
internship at Ezitech Institute has provided me with a more hands-on understanding of the
web development field.

Choosing web development as my area of focus for the internship was an intentional
decision, as I had previously completed a WordPress development course, which introduced
me to fundamental website concepts. Though I was slightly out of practice, the decision was
driven by my desire to get back into the field where I could leverage my existing knowledge
while learning new skills in a professional environment.

The internship provided me with the opportunity to work on two major projects: cloning the
"Homeland" template and the "Banker" template, both of which were based on
responsive web design using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. This hands-on work gave me the
chance to improve my front-end development skills and adapt to real-world project
requirements. I also faced challenges that allowed me to grow both personally and
professionally, particularly in working with JavaScript, and integrating responsive designs to
ensure cross-device compatibility.

[Link] Timeline
Weeks 1-2: Initial Orientation and Skill Refresh

During the first two weeks, I underwent orientation and skill refreshment. I was not assigned any
specific projects but used this time to reacquaint myself with HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript.
This helped me prepare for the upcoming tasks by revisiting essential concepts and ensuring I
was up to date with current web development practices.

Weeks 3-4: Homeland Template Clone

In the third and fourth weeks, I was tasked with cloning the Homeland template. This project
involved:

 Customizing HTML and CSS to match the original design.

 Ensuring the site was fully responsive and worked well on different screen sizes.
 Implementing some basic interactive elements using JavaScript.

Weeks 5-6: Banker Template Clone

The final two weeks were spent cloning the Banker template. Similar to the previous project, I
worked on:

 Refining the layout and adjusting design elements to meet the template’s specifications.
 Using JavaScript for interactivity and improving user engagement.
 Ensuring cross-browser compatibility and optimizing for performance.

During these six weeks, I was able to significantly improve my front-end development skills and
gain hands-on experience with real-world projects.

Weeks 1-2 Mini Projects and tutorials:

During the first two weeks, I focused on refreshing my core skills by taking crash courses on
HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The primary goal was to solidify my understanding of the
fundamentals while implementing them through mini-projects. I worked on:

 HTML: Revising the structure of web pages, including elements like forms, links,
images, tables, and lists.
 CSS: Practicing layout techniques such as Flexbox, Grid, and styling for various
elements like buttons, containers, and text.

I applied the knowledge from these courses to create mini-projects, which helped me to:

 Reinforce my understanding of the basics.

 Practice coding in a hands-on environment.
 Gain confidence in my ability to build simple web pages.

Weeks 5–6 Banker Template Clone:

In the final phase of my internship, I was assigned to clone the Banker template. This project
was more advanced compared to the Homeland template and required me to carefully implement
both design and interactivity. It was a two-week task where I focused on bringing the complete
layout, styling, and functionality as close as possible to the original template.

Key Tasks Performed in Banker clone

 Page Structure with HTML: Built the main structure of all the pages (Home, Services,
Blog, About, Contact) using semantic HTML tags for better readability and maintainability.
 Styling with CSS: Applied modern styling techniques to match the exact layout of the
Banker template. This included working with Flexbox, Grid, spacing, typography, and
responsive design.
 JavaScript Features: Integrated JavaScript for interactivity. Although I was still learning, I
managed to use DOM manipulation for navigation menus, forms, and simple dynamic
effects.
 Responsive Design: Ensured the site was mobile-friendly by implementing media queries
and testing the pages on different screen sizes.
