CHAPTER ONE: FUNDAMENTAL PRINCIPLES
Statute
ARTICLE 1: The Student Center will be governed by this Statute, which determines
its constitution, purposes, functions, authorities, decision-making, electoral system,

Student Assembly and endorsed by the Establishment's Direction, who thus

Legal nature and autonomy
ARTICLE 2: The Student Center will be the sole representative body of the
regular students enrolled in the institution. It will function as an entity
autonomous within the limits and powers attributed to it by the present statute and in
compliance with its specific functions.
Dogmatic bases of the Statute
ARTICLE 3: This statute recognizes the following as general principles
rights, guarantees, and reciprocal obligations:
a) Full, free, and democratic participation of all students in the establishment in
the forms and instances recognized in the current regulation.
b) To choose and be chosen.
c) Universal and secret vote.
d) Express deadlines and renewal of executive mandates.
Right to petition.
f) Right to know about the operation of the Student Center and about the
administration and disposition of their assets and finances.
g) Advertising of the resolutions, acts, and actions of the organic bodies.
h) Accountability before the General Assembly.
Duty to inform your principals and the management team of the establishment.
j) Representation of minorities when they exceed 20 percent of the votes

CHAPTER TWO: AIMS - FUNCTIONS

ARTICLE 4: The student center will pursue the following objectives:

d. Oversee the academic and administrative tasks of educational institutions.
Functions
ARTICLE 5: The functions of the student center will be:
a. To equitably represent the entire student body of the institution

days and actions aimed at training in comprehensive sexual education and
in all those issues that are of interest to the students.
CHAPTER THREE: MEMBERS - DELEGATES - BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Of the members
ARTICLE 6: All individuals who can participate in the student centers are those who
they must be regular students of the educational institution, as the only requirement.

ARTICLE 7: They will constitute the authorities of the Student Center and will govern it

CHAPTER FIVE: COMMISSIONS OR WORK SECRETARIES

CHAPTER SIX: OF THE ELECTORAL REGIME
ARTICLE 26:
The elections must be held during the month of November.

register for each student group that presents a list in the electoral event.
f. For the preparation of the registry, the authorities of the educational institution only

CHAPTER EIGHT: ELECTION ACT
The procedure to follow before the electoral act

ARTICLE 42: The Student Center and its members in particular will have explicit
prohibition of:
a) Spread and promote totalitarian ideologies, discriminatory or denialist of

thought and expression of students and other institutional actors.
