RECENTLY CONVERTED
LESSON 1: NEWBORN

Introduction: Having accepted Jesus Christ as your Savior, you now have a new
relationship with God and his family. Ephesians 2:19: "For God, they are no longer foreigners. To

LESSON 2: THE FAMILY OF GOD

Introduction: Dear friend: Congratulations on the great step of inviting Jesus into your heart.

LESSON 3: THE BENEFITS OF THE CROSS

Eternal Life

What man receives through the cross:

Eternal life

In the intercessory prayer that Jesus made before the Father, he said: 'And this is eternal life: that'
that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent." John
17:3. Man experiences eternal life on earth, from the moment he accepts
Jesus Christ as your Savior. Jesus, just as he breathed on his disciples and said to them: 'Receive the
Spirit, accept our prayer of faith and give us the Holy Spirit who is the one who assures us the
eternal life.

LESSON 4: OVERCOMING OBSTACLES

The most common obstacles faced by the believer:

the world

I do not ask that you take them out of the world, but that you keep them from the evil one. They are not of the

world, just as I am not of the world" John 17: 15 - 16. When Jesus prayed for his

LESSON 5: SALVATION

1. The salvation of the soul is a spiritual, miraculous liberation that takes place in the soul.

Lesson 6: The Holy Bible

Introduction: Now that you are a believer in Christ, the best way to know
our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and grow in his love (2 Peter 3:18) is to start to
study the Bible. The Bible is not only the standard for society, but it is especially the

The Bible is divided into two sections: Old Testament (OT) and New Testament (NT).

LESSON 7: THE SENTENCE

Introduction: The basic element for living in the family of God is to write in the
knowledge and relationship with our Heavenly Father is achieved by conversing with Him

I. Praying to God is the privilege and duty of every person (1 Timothy 2:8)

Praying is talking with God. It is speaking with Him, with trust and freedom, because you

LESSON 8: THE ONE TRUE GOD

Introduction: God is one. The only true God has revealed Himself as Eternal,
Self-existent, Creator of heaven and earth and the Redeemer of humanity. He has revealed Himself.

LESSON 9: SIN

Sin disrupts communion with God. For the believer, nothing can be more serious than.
the devil tries to steal everything precious from our lives. John 10:10; James 1:13-15.

His two natures

Within you, there are two natures in constant war, one against the other.
One of them tends to obey God, and the other to rebel against God.

LESSON 10: FAITH

Faith makes us victors

No child of God is a failure, even though we have to go through different

adversities, in Christ we are more than conquerors. You yourself decide what kind of

Faith is the engine that drives man throughout the Christian life, and the same
comes as a consequence of a total dependence on the Word of God.

c) Different classes of faith

The creative faith

God endowed us with the same nature as Him, and through faith, we call things.

LESSON 11: THE ORDINANCES

The ordinances are understood as that sacred act established by Christ whose representation
relates to the completed work and all sufficiency of Christ and confers a
special blessing to those who participate with faith in response to the proclaimed Word in the
celebration of this. However, it should not be understood that an ordinance grants with the
saving grace, which is received only through faith in Jesus Christ.

Every ordinance involves elements that symbolize aspects due to their function. For example,
baptism should be by immersion because this action identifies us better with death,
burial and resurrection of Christ.

BAPTISM IN WATER

a. Water baptism is an ordinance established by Christ (Mark 16: 15-16;

Matthew 28:19). Following the confession of faith (Romans 10:19; Acts 8:35 -
38), water baptism is the concrete response to the announcement that Jesus is the
Lord triumphant over death, exalted at the right hand of God (Acts 2:36 - 38).
Although baptism does not regenerate nor confer saving grace (1 Peter 3: 21),
due to its direct relationship with salvation, it is the necessary act to manifest a
genuine faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, in the manner that Scripture says: "he who
He who believes and is baptized will be saved" (Mark 16:16). In this same sense the
expressions "baptism in Christ" (Romans 6: 3-4; Galatians 3:26,27) and
baptism in one body" (1 Corinthians 12:13) although they correspond to realities
they are the result of faith in Christ, having as external manifestation the
water baptism.

b. It is a type or figure of death 'old man' and the resurrection of the 'man'
"new" to walk in "newness of life" (Romans 6:4-6; Ephesians 4:22-24). The
special blessing that baptism in water grants to the believer comes from the
identification of the believer with the death and resurrection of Christ.

c. A clear and sincere testimony of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ is required from the
believer to be baptized. (Acts 8:26 - 38; Col. 2:12). This explains why
this ordinance cannot be enforced on an infant.

d. The baptism in water, which is the first act of obedience, is done in the name
of the Father, of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, by the express command of the Lord (Matthew
3:13 – 17; 28:19.

e. The word 'Baptize', due to its common use in the New Testament, and for the
historical evidence of the practices of the Church in its beginnings, has the
meaning of 'immersion' or 'dive'. This aligns with the teaching of
Romans 6:3-4

We must be baptized, for as followers of Christ, we act according to his

own example. He was not sprayed with water, but was completely submerged, for he
ordered. And in the same way guided by the conduct of Jesus, the apostles

they extended this ordinance in this regard (Acts 2:37 - 41). Similarly,
we make our faith valid by obeying the command of Jesus.

2. THE LAST SUPPER

a. It is a "memorial" of the death of Jesus and the promises of his second coming.
(1 Corinthians 11:26)

b. This ordinance was instituted by the Lord, who commanded that it be practiced until
his second coming (Matthew 26:26-30); 1 Corinthians 11:23 - 31).

c. The two elements of 'bread' and 'wine' represent the body and blood of Christ.

His body was broken when he bore our sins on the cross.
2. The blood establishes the New Covenant, that is, the promise of eternal life (1 Co.
11:24 -25

It is the privilege and duty of all believers to take part in the Holy Communion, because
it is the symbol of the participation in the divine nature of Christ (John 6:33-56; 2
Peter 1:4

The participant is required to first examine themselves so as not to take part in

an unworthy state (1 Cor. 11: 28-29) (any doubts consult with the pastor).

NOTE: The believer who considers themselves unworthy to participate in the Holy Supper, before avoiding
one must seek the Lord's forgiveness and renew their consecration, in order to participate
with the church. Thus fulfilling in this way, the Holy Supper will be a means of uplifting and
uphold the spiritual standard of the church.
