INSTALLATION
INSTALLATION LOCATION
The boiler must be installed in a location that meets the regulations and the
minimum distances prescribed by current regulations with ventilation openings of
appropriate dimensions.
It is prohibited to install the hip outdoors because it has not been designed for that.
It has automatic ice protection systems.
The CONNECTION BETWEEN BOILER AND CHIMNEY must be carried out according to the
current regulations and legislation, with rigid conduits, resistant to temperature,
to condensation, to mechanical stresses, and to be perfectly airtight.
For the sealing of the joints, use materials that are resistant to at least
250°C.
Chimneys and connection joints between boiler and chimney of dimensions and shape
inadequate materials can amplify combustion noise, negatively affect
the combustion parameters and cause condensation problems.
14
WATER CONNECTION
The selection and installation of the components of the installation is the responsibility of the
installer who must work properly respecting current legislation.
they include the following recommendations that must be fulfilled:
- The connections to the boiler should not bear the weight of the pipes.
installation connection: therefore, these will have to be secured and
placed in a way that does not create dangerous efforts.
- The installation of interception devices between the boiler and the tank is prohibited.
expansion and between the boiler and the safety valves.
- The expansion tank must have appropriate dimensions (they should not
water leaks occur due to normal expansion) and, if the tank of
the expansion is closed, the safety valves have to open only
exceptionally. This is to ensure that successive contributions of water are as
as limited as possible and, in any case, can be carried out and controlled from a
unique point of the installation.
Make sure that water pipes are not used as grounding connections.
electrical or telephone installation. They are not suitable for that at all because
serious damage to the pipes could be verified in the short term.
- Before connecting the boiler, clean all the pipes of the installation for
eliminate any residues that could compromise proper functioning
from the boiler.
- If the water available for filling the installation is hard (> 15 GF) or corrosive (pH
less than 7.2), anticipate a treatment installation; otherwise, they could
to cause damage that cannot always be repaired.
- 15 -
After connecting the water installation, ensure that no air remains in
the pipes.
ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION
The electrical installation must be carried out by professionally qualified personnel.
respecting the legislative rules in force.
The use of adapters, multiple sockets, and/or extensions is not allowed for
connect the equipment to the main electricity supply line.
For the connection to the line, it is necessary to provide a bipolar switch as planned.
by the current regulations.
The condensation is acidic and corrosive and, in the long run, corrodes the boiler plates.
- 16 -
When the burner is turned on, a thermostat located in the water return in the
boiler and regulated to 55°C with contact exchange, starts the operation of the
anti-condensation pump until the programmed temperature is reached; then,
simultaneously will turn off the anti-condensation pump and turn on the pumps of the
installation
BOILER
The flow rate of the anti-condensation pump is normally 25-30% of the flow rate of the
pump of the installation, while the required hydrostatic load is modest
because it only has to overcome the resistance of the boiler and the valves.
In the smoke chamber of the SUPERAC boilers, there is a connection for the drainage of
the eventual condensation that will form during the startup phase.
Before pouring the container into the sewer system, bring the acidity level to
levels between pH 6.5 and 9 using neutralizing products.
- 17 -
FUEL SUPPLY
Ensure that the fuel supply installation has the devices for
safety and control prescribed by current regulations.
Check that the boiler is prepared for operation with the type of
available fuel.
BURNER CONNECTION
For the installation of the burner, the electrical connections and regulations
necessary, consult the burner instruction manual.
Check that the chosen burner is suitable for the boiler by monitoring the
technical data of both.
The burner nozzle must have the dimensions indicated below:
CERAMIC FIBER

Firmly attach the burner to the portal using the mounting plate in such a way
that the call is parallel and centered in the home; otherwise, issues may arise
combustion anomalies with the danger of seriously damaging the boiler.
This operation prevents the overheating of the hatch, which otherwise would
it would deform irreversibly.
If the burner has an air intake, connect it with a rubber tube to the existing intake.
In the peephole call: in this way the glass will remain clear.
If the burner does not have an air intake, remove the intake that is in the sight glass.
close the hole with a plug of Ø 1/8" GAS.
Extract the mineral wool from the home and wrap it around the body of the boiler.
starting from the top and securing it, making a hole with the hands, in the tubes
for entry and exit.
Then fix it to the shirt with the included strips.
Start the assembly with the left side panel (3), placing the first thing the
the bottom part and then the top part of the panel at the angles of the structure
caldera.
Then mount the right side panel (2) following the same procedure as for
the left.
19
Place the upper panels (4)(5) in the boiler.
Before joining them, prepare the electrical panel (6) as specified below and
fix it to the upper right panel like this: extend the capillaries of the
sondas, make them pass through the hole in the panel and insert them into the containers located
near the pressure pipe.
Then, fix the frame to the panel.
Next, join the top panels with the sides by fitting them together.

convenient (on the sides or above the boiler) using the included support.
ATTENTION: all probes with capillary of the instruments in the table must
introduce yourself into the body boiler buckets located near the connection of
heating system exit.
Then, make the electrical connections following the instructions of the diagram.
included.
Do not secure the electrical cables to the boiler body plates, nor to the door or in
the smoke chamber.
21
PREVIOUS OPERATIONS BEFORE FIRST STARTUP
Before the launch:
- to check that the probes of the regulation and control instruments are
correctly placed in the buckets;
- ensure that the installation is filled with water, without air, and with a pressure greater than 1
bar is lower than the maximum expected by the team;
- ensure that all control and security devices are efficient and in place
properly regulated;
- check that the refractory lining of the hatch has not suffered any breakages;
- to ensure that the burner nozzle blocking has been done correctly
executed (see p. 18);
- check that the tightening of the hatch has been executed correctly (see page.
25);
- Check that the shut-off valves of the installation are fully open and that the
bombs spin correctly;
- ensure that there is fuel available and that the shut-off valves are
flammable materials should be open.
- 22 -
FIRST TURN ON
Once the preliminary checks are completed, to start the boiler it is necessary to:
- adjust the thermostat/s of the boiler that is on the control panel between 60 and
90°C, depending on the type of heating system;
- press the main switch on the control panel (the indicator lights up
light of the button.
The team will carry out a startup phase and, once underway, will continue in
operation until the programmed temperatures are reached.
Subsequently, the operation is automatic.
Once the start-up is completed, it is necessary to check that the equipment stops and
it will be turned on again successively:
Carry out the leak tightness control of all the packings on the water side and side
humus.
This operation is of fundamental importance for the seal of the gate, the joint of
the burner plate and the packing of the smoke box to prevent smoke
toxic combustion gases and therefore dangerous escape to the boiler room.
To guarantee perfect sealing, perform the hot tightening.
The weight of the burner, applied in cantilever, tends to loosen the plate joint.
burner and that of the upper part of the portal.
- 23 -
It is also very important to check the tightness of the boiler/chimney joint.
for the reasons stated above.
Check the total stop of the equipment by acting on the main switch of the
installation.
MAINTENANCE
Periodic maintenance is essential for safety, performance, and longevity.
from the boiler.
After having carried out the combustion analysis and before any other
operation
− disconnect the power supply by turning off the main switch of the
electrical panel of the installation;
24
OPENING AND REGULATION OF THE GATE
The gate can be opened from both sides (except in models 2910 ÷ 4070).
Normally the opening is from left to right.
To open the gate, remove the fixing nuts on the left side.
BOILER CLEANING
Cleaning the boiler is an operation that must be carried out at least once per
once a year to remove carbon deposits from the exchange surfaces.
To carry it out, open the gate, open the rear cleaning door and remove the
turbulence devices.
Then, clean the flue ducts with a soot remover and vacuum the soot through the
rear cleaning door.
25
SUCCESSIVE CONTROLS AFTER BOILER CLEANING
Check the perfect airtightness of the smoke circuit and, if necessary, replace the
damaged joints.
Control the water tightness of the installation to prevent changes and fillings
useless water that would only increase the risk of limescale deposits.
Do not leave containers of easily flammable substances in the premises where it is.
